Your Floor long term reviews: Got Pics?

Hey all.

I know this is a pretty general question and I've been reading threads for about a month now, but I'm stuck between going with an expoxy or polyurea system, or ghostshield 8510. I would like things to look nice, but don't want it to be a PIA to keep nice.

I poured my floor last year, 584 Sq Ft, 2" foam and a moisture barrier underneath and up the sides, and now that the building is finalized I'm ready to pick a floor product.

I do a little of all things - entertain in the garage, a bunch of woodworking, and weld/grind once every other month. I'd like the floor to look nice, and to have it resist mostly oil stains and salt damage here in Minnesota to protect my heated floor.

I'm not big on flake so I can find stuff I drop, but could be converted.

My Question: Who out there has a similar shop traffic, deals with salt and welds/grinds once in a while might be able to share what you used and how your floor is holding up? Got any pics?

Hi Papp. Did you consider porcelain tile for your garage? You have the perfect set up,..foam, moisture barrier etc. It would be a good idea to take a look at some of those threads. I don't work on my car in my garage (I am a women) but some of the guys that have say there are no issues. I can tell you for sure, the salt will not be an issue on a porcelain tile floor. I live in Michigan and was so very happy after putting my floor in that it really held up well to the nasty winter salt and grime. I just hose or wash it down. It is beautiful. Stains do not adhere to it. I was going to go with epoxy, but it was pretty much the same price as tile. Check out Jack, Dakota and some of the other guys with their floor. Sorry I don't know how to up load pics or I would show you. But there are plenty of threads with this subject, especially if you like to entertain in your garage.
