Hope we get a 30% one! 25% is for everyday stuff. Of all places to offer 30% off, I had an Enco code, but I was not anywhere near internet service for the sale. It sucked, because I had stuff I wanted to order from them as well.

There was a time when the 25% deals seemed to pop up every few weeks, not so much these days. Maybe it's the result of them using targeted emails. I gave in and used 15% last week for "everyday stuff".

I had about $250 worth of stuff siting in my cart for a few weeks, I think that may be part of it. The email said they missed me or something that stroked my ego enough to spend another $500.

I've had over a thousand in my cart. They emailed me 1 coupon and mailed me a physical flyer with a coupon. Both went to the trash. Flash sale damn you!

For those still waiting for a discount, code ROADTRIP is for general use (not a one-time deal).

Of course, I just meant I will settle for this instead of waiting for a 30% off flash sale that might not even happen.

 Just clarifying so no one missed out.

My patience for a 30% flash sale is also running short. The cart has been full for a while now...

For those wanting to get the 211 and purchase 2 spoolmates to get the $400 rebate, and a 3rd spoolmate for free (free spoolmate promo ends July 31), I would advise waiting.

With 20% off, Miller 211 and 2 spoolmates are $1455 OTD (no tax). With the $400 rebate and assuming you can clear $200 per spoolmate, you would net paying $450-460. If you wait for a 30% flash sale (assuming we won't have before the end of July), you would pay $1273 OTD. After $400 rebate and selling 2 spoolmates for $200, you end up being at $460-470.

Being someone who has tried selling these spoolmates, they don't sell fast at all. I've had one on ebay for 3 weeks and it still hasn't sold, and it's the cheapest one on there by almost $10. I did this deal on the last flash sale, and my BIL is wanting one now. I would rather only have to mess with selling 2 of those guys for just a little bit more.

I could of told you that. I have a couple things on ebay for crazy cheap not selling. how many people shop on ebay or CL for a miller spool gun??? I am having a hard time selling Kimberly Clark safety glasses for 25$ for a case of 12!'

I was thinking about doing all that for a cheap miller welding.. your auctions are probally the one I been watching to see what **** is selling for.. If someone else does it they will under cut you by even more.

I know there was discussion a few pages back about what they would sell for... so I wanted everyone to be aware that banking on recouping money fast was not going to happen unless they sold for dirt cheap.

This kind of surprised me as I've sold quite a bit of extra tools over the past year and they have typically sold pretty fast.

I'm considering calling Zoro tomorrow (after this 20% sale is over) and asking when the next flash sale is. I plan to explain them why timing is of importance and see if they can cut me a deal.

I would try to find another way other than a spool gun.. maybe a miller helmet or something. But then again, shipping that big thing will kill your profit. Either way 450 to 600$ for a miller welder is a great deal. might take you 6 months to do it

While I do have a list waiting for a better deal, I did pick up a Chicago Latrobe HSS letter set, some boots, some Widia taps, and another Justrite safety can.

I am still looking for a 30% flash sale, I need to order some Knaack boxes. The prices after the 30% end up being so close to craigslist prices (for 10 year old ones), that I can't even justify looking at used ones.

I have a hard time finding any deals in this thread. It is always flagged as unread when I login into the forum but the content is always the same... "My cart is full, I sure hope a 30% off sale comes soon" or "When is the next flash sale?".

You have to keep checking back, there was a 20% off for today that you can use. Sometimes other members will give up codes they have. Other times, we just like to commiserate. :headscrat

I did the 20% too, I had a nice package put together and was shooting for a 30% sale but settling for a 25% Zoro sale. With the Miller Go Blue rebates I was close to where I wanted to pay. Then I remembered I had just had a good run with some sales on Craigslist with selling a Craftsman tool chest and some other stuff.

So.......adding that to the equation it put me over the edge and I pulled the trigger. All thing considered, I'll end up paying just under $500 dollars out of pocket for the 211, $420 in accessories And the free spool gun with free shipping.

It'll be here Tuesday.

I almost bit on the 20% for the miller, decided to hold out. Hopefully I don't regret it. Luckily it is not something I absolutely need to have, just something I want to get into and have around.

My cart is filled to about $1900 before tax for the MM211 and the difference between 20% and 30% discount is equal to cost of a spoolmate 100. I decided to hold off on the 20% and am waiting for a better discount before the end of July. Otherwise, I'll buy later on with 30% discount and there will be no difference, other than the fact that I won't have to wait to rebate the spoolmate.
