Update guys:

Yesterday I received my $400 rebate from Miller for the 211 and accessories I bought from Zoro. Miller says the spool gun will be here, 7-10 days. I sent the rebate in on July 29th, so about 3 weeks for the check process.

That's great because I was just under the threshold on the rebate for the $400 dollars actually spent on the rebate/amount paid/Zoro discount debate here previously on the Zoro threads.

I've ordered probably a dozen orders from Zoro in the past two years, this is the first time I've had an issue (but also the first time I've ordered an oddly sized item).

They shipped this FedEx Freight, without a skid:

They really need to fire their packing and shipping manager. I bet in this thread alone, there have been several tens of thousands of dollars lost due to poor packaging.

The person who received my call said it's odd that it went freight, because expedited shipping was available (which means it was small enough to go air). Even if it went air or ground, would they really have expected a long object shrinkwrapped to a box to NOT be bent?

They're sending me a whole other one because they don't sell the rail separately and can't replace just the rail.

I used Canoe yesterday and picked up a HUGE pelican case I had my eye on for a real good deal. Zoro hasnt been the fastest for shipping but I can wait for a deal.

After my shipping mishap I was going to get a refund, but then they said it would be 7 to 10 business days, so I decided to just make them ship another Knaack box. Hopefully the second one won't be damage and I will be unwrapping it before off loading it this time.

Sometimes you have to do a bit of legwork to get good deals, quit complaining and just check this thread daily. You will never do away with the chatter, some of us enjoy it, last I heard it was called a conversation or something like that.

Chuckle. It's only annoying if you have notifications turned on. It would be nice if you didn't get an email and a pop-up for every post in an active thread, but you still got them when the thread re-awakened after a long sleep.
