Zoro has the Millermatic 211 back in stock:

G0464899 MIG Welder, 120/240VAC, 1 Phase 907614

Different part number, and the regular price is now $200 more than MSRP. :-(

Glad to see they have it on their site now! Now for a 30% flash sale with the $400 build with blue rebate, this could be a great deal!

Just wait a couple weeks and they'll have at 35% or maybe even 40% off.

I've been here as a member for a little while and lurked long before I finally joined up. I have heard stories of the elusive 40% days, but those seem to have disappeared along with bigfoot. 30% is as good as it gets over the past couple of years.

Yeah I am waiting to pull the trigger on a couple Knaack cabinets and 40% off would pay for 2 cabinets for the same price as buying 1 from HD. I will wait until on or around BF, and assuming that is 30% off, that will be my trigger.

They had 35% off last black friday... I highly suspect it will be the same this year.

I believe they actually did like a 20% on black Friday, and a 30% of Cyber Monday. They haven't done anything above 30% for a few years now.

I'm torn about the Millermatic 211. On the one hand, it's $1,016 with the "25%" discount. On the other hand, Miller's MSRP for 907614 is $1,160, so the actual discount is more like 12%.

I'm really irritated by the inflated regular price.

Zoro's got some good pricing. Esp. on some of their material handling things. Can't imagine manufacturers are going to be too happy about it -- they're really undercutting some of the other guys.

Yeah, their prices are usually good. The business with the 211 is a bit of an anomaly.

Unfortunately the welder is the only large purchase I've been seriously contemplating.

Did grab a few things yesterday....I bought the Harris Steelworker 510 Dlx Welding/Cutting Torch outfit for $255 less 25% (lumped in a few other things to get to $300) plus 2% for going through Ebates.com yielded a bottom line price of ~$186 which is very good. I have been wanting to buy the Lincoln 140C Mig Welder but Zoro has it priced at $900 which just brings it down to what everybody else is sellling it at with the discount. Zoro's selection of Harris branded welding/cutting tips is limited - anybody have a good discount source for these?

The extra 2% sounds good. I'm wandering off topic, but I went to the Ebates website and they don't provide much detail on how it works. It looks like you "enter" the merchant's website thru Ebates.....right? Does Ebates then know your user name and password for Zoro? Wonder if Ebates is then selling your shopping stats to advertisers.

You need to set up an account with Ebates. Then you access Zoro (or lots of other sites) through Ebates. That's it. After that you are dealing with Zoro normally. The way I understand it, web sites like Zoro pay others when you click a link and then purchase something. Ebates splits that money with you rather than keeping it all. It seems like a no brainer but many times I just forget to use it. FYI...I think Zoro is on Ebates sometimes and other times not.

Just a heads up on combining Zoro with eBates - if you get the code off eBates, the 2% cash back is still good. If you use a code not featured on eBates, they may cancel your 2%.

So, always check if there's a Zoro code on eBates before you use another. Usually the 20-30% off for anyone sales appear both places but with different codes. The personalized codes probably won't work - the last I used one, Zoro cancelled the eBates credit after it had already been placed in my account.

I had the same experience with ebates, but I called and they added the 2% for me anyways. Worth a shot calling if your order is large enough.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the link to their calendar or how do I find it? I haven't been able to find it for some reason?

At this point, I'm guessing it's worth waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday for a better savings?

Perfect timing. Just picked up Durham parts storage cabinet and another Milwaukee bare-tool fuel impact wrench. No tax, free shipping. Gotta love it. Thanks for posting!

Not sure about other products, but I am pretty certain the base price of a Miller 252 jumped from $2545 to $2711 overnight to correspond with the sale. May still be a good deal, but not cool.

Sorry for the delay.
I got the 24 drawer 033-95
http://www.zoro.com/durham-cabinet-parts-storage-033-95/i/G0332175/?q=G0332175

For now, it will sit on top of one of my HF 44" tool chests (bottom) to store nuts/bolts/washers and other hardware that is heavy.

Eventually, I'd love to get a free standing parts drawer system, either Duham or Lista, but right now I don't have the space or need for one, so this cabinet will handle the stuff that I've got in bins, boxes and a plastic storage case.

Well, unfortunately (and not surprisingly) the Durham drawer cabinet arrived today....damaged. A couple of drawer faces dented, and one corner smashed up.

What's been the experience here with Zoro on this sort of thing? While I could send back, I'd be concerned the next one would be damaged as well.
