My order showed up today. I ordered (16) 8' T8 fixtures for the new shop will get a build thread started soon to show the progress.
I was super happy to get a deal on all the light fixtures!! Saved a little over $250 from anywhere else I priced them.

I reseached on Amazon people seem to have success. One guy said he used 7.5 tons to press out a bearing on a Camry

Definitely should handle installation with a little freezer trick if needed (provided it fits)

Thanks. And it is a Dake so it should compare favorably with any other 10 ton press.

Do you have any links to the ones you bought on Zoro? Durham makes a lot of different storage solutions. I've been thinking about the lidded organizer drawers with rack.

I ordered the following:

4 Drawer Cabinet (2): http://www.zoro.com/durham-drawer-cabinet-15-34-x-20-x-15-in-303-95/i/G2217004/

20 Compartment Box 12x18x3 (4): http://www.zoro.com/durham-compartment-box-12-in-d-18-in-w-3-in-h-111-95-d569/i/G2760606/

32 Compartment Box 12x18x3 (2): http://www.zoro.com/durham-compartment-box-12-in-d-18-in-w-3-in-h-107-95-d935/i/G2540894/

16 Compartment Box 12x18x3 (2): http://www.zoro.com/durham-compartment-box-12-in-d-18-in-w-3-in-h-113-95-d567/i/G2051542/

Cost a little over $220 after the 30% off. I was originally going to order 12 of the smaller boxes (9.25x13.325x2) with 2 6 drawer cabinets, until I calculated the volume I was getting, the 8 larger boxes (12x18x3) had almost double the volume (5184 cubic inches vs 2958.15 cubic inches) as the 12 small boxes for a similar price (within $10 or so).

Only downside to the larger cabinets are they take up more space, and the weight limits are the same on the large boxes as they are on the small ones. So if you're planning on putting over 40 pounds in the larger boxes or you need them to fit in a smaller space you may want to get the smaller ones.

I bought the Milwaukee M12 2454 impact kit and ratchet bare tool on their 30% off sale. I then saw that Homedepot had it as buy a kit and get a free tool.

I call zoro and asked if they could match it or give me a $50 credit. They said no so I'm going to return it to zoro.

I called HD ordered the kit and used a lowes 10% of coupon. I saved almost $70

Was the 30% promo code unique for those on their post card mailing list, or a generic promo code?

It was a special one. I got mine the day after it expired. It was a 30% off 200 and a 20% off 100 (the generic online code was a 30% off 200 or 15% off 150, so it was only better for small purchases- which is what I was looking to do... but got it too late!).

They have my email that was used to send me codes previously, I'm still not sure what the point of mailing me a postcard 8 days after the sale was.:lol_hitti

If you know how to do simple math and google searching you can determine what is a good deal.
I do know how to do simple math. Heck, I can even do aljeebrah on occasion. And I have a Brown Belt in GoogleFu.

That's how I know that their list price is HIGHER than MSRP. Not only is it higher than "street price", i.e. the normal actual retail price one can find simply by walking down the street, but it's higher than the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Between the absolute craptastiknessity of their search functionality, and their pricing ethics not even rising to the level of Buddy Hall's, I'll pass on giving them business.

Not saying zoro is the only place to shop, but they do have some deals if you want to save money.
I do, but not at the cost of propping up a vendor beset with incompetence and/or scuzzy ethics.

For those who choose to engage in commerce with them, I wish you the best of deals.

^^^ go ahead and pass if you like, your choice. milwaukee right angle drill attachment at zoro is 10 dollars cheaper than what rural king is selling them for, normal price. throw in the 30% off and no tax for me it was a no brainer. some things are definately a good deal.. fact..

I have found it to go both ways. Sometimes their prices are high sometimes low.You gotta research what you're buying

I guess some people forgot the title of this thread????

DON'T ruin this thread for the rest. Start your own thread about how overpriced zoro is.

Just so you know there is no response necessary.

Has anyone tried to get a rebate from Miller on a purchase from Zoro? Was the rebate honored? They aren't listed as an official retailer, but with a possible 25% off coming up there could be a nice welder deal under my tree.

That would make a Miller 211 like $700... :3gears:

All said and done (if you play your cards right), I've bought 5 Miller 211's for friends and family for $500 OTD.

You need to know your prices. The Milwaukee compact portaband with the 30% off was $60 LESS than anyone else, and my Dynabrade sander was $100 less then the closest seller. Same with their sanding belts and some Dremel accessories. It depends what you are buying.
As for searching their site ,go to goggle and type in Zoro and YOUR item. Works for me.

Doing the $400 accessories deal and selling the accessories?

I think I'm just going to take the $200 rebate and be happy with that. But still makes it like $770. Not a bad deal on the $1200 welder...

I wish they still had the free spool gun rebate. I'm about ready to take advantage of this deal now. Would make it $300.

Yeah, 4 of the 5 we got were during the free spoolmate deal, that was awesome!

Purchasing 2 spoolmates (after the discount its less than $400, but Zoro's receipt doesn't show the discount for each individual item, so Miller accepts this for the rebate) and selling them on ebay. I was clearing around $200 a piece on the spoolmates.
