Hey guys is the Miller 212 more powerful than the 211?

It says the 211 can only do 3/16"

Does either of them do 1/4 with gas or must that be flux core

Any more word on a possible Zoro sale tomorrow? Hoping for a 25% off thing...someone suggested it may happen 12/15?

If they have a sale tomorrow I'm gonna call in and place an order. They have Armstrong pinless impact socket sets on their ebay store but not on their actual Web site. I am hoping they will do a discount on those.

If they have a sale then I'll be getting a Miller 211. Otherwise I'll settle for a 141. Merry Christmas either way.

After 25% off the Miller 211 but I have tax here that puts it higher than cyber weld $1095 or welders supply $1065.

But the cyberweld comes with a free helmet. I could use that.

Not sure anyone looking for a 110v welder I will be selling the Lincoln MIG 135t that's only used a few times

The 211 is $1256 less 25% is $948. If tax is 5% then it's more like $990. The less $200 MIR. So you're still doing a fair bit better than cyberweld even with the free (cheap-ish) helmet.

Interesting, there is more than 1 Miller 211 on their website. Maybe this is an old model?

Edit: I see it now. There is a non-multivoltage Miller 211. Glad I noticed that, I have 240 in my garage, but had planned on having 120/240 options. Glad we talked about this...

Yes just check the part numbers to make sure it qualifies for rebates
I would get the 110v option so you can weld in the backyard or help a friend.
Most of the time you can repair something on a car with 110v, at least to get you going

Yeah, I'll be sure to do that. Thanks for the tip-off.

I think for what I'm doing a good 110v will be plenty. Sheet metal repair and exhaust is about it.

That's a Millermatic 190, not a 211.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

I used google to find it (since Zoro's built in search *****) but yes, I see that now. Seemed too good to be true.

Once I figure in that Zoro charges me sales tax the cyberweld deal is just as good as the zoro one once you figure in the free helmet. Zoro is $645 all said and done on the Miller 141. CyberWeld is $675 but that's with the helmet.

Would like to see what the $400 padlock is guarding as well
Wouldn't the hasp or chain be the weak point then ?

The one thing I don't get about Zoro is are they like a furniture store and figure people just wait for coupons/sales? I don't know about all their products, but they tend to have their welders priced higher than the other retailers.

So one line of products in a store of 100,000 products makes it high priced? That's like walking into Home Depot and saying, wow these lamps are pricey, I'm never shopping here until there's a sale. ;)

Read the whole thread; there's plenty of cases where they're the lowest already, and the coupon sweetens the deal more. I do wait for coupons on some things, but others that I need, it's almost always worth checking Zoro first to see.

*Slowly raises hand

I actually just used it on a compressor. I had it in my cart when that post popped up.

If it helps, I've been a member here for awhile.
