So whiny. I got a Miller 211 (inverter) when they first came out for a great price from Zoro. I think when all said and done I had $450-500 in it.

Looks like Zoro has a 25% off, for over $150. I've been waiting for a 30% for a long time. Is it me, or are they not having the 30% sales as much...or any more for that matter?

Seems like 25% off brings their prices down to at or just below competitors. Perhaps its just the items I'm interested in, but 25% off is not nearly as nice with Zoro as it sounds.

Depends on the items it seems. Most of the stuff that I have in my cart is priced fairly low already, so adding the 25% off on top of it is pretty good.

There were a bunch of items I was looking at (Milwaukee M12/M18) stuff that is priced higher than most.

The M12/M18 stuff was what I was looking at also. Ive been eyeing the Halotron extinguishers too. Prices seem to be OK - I may pull the trigger on a 5lb'er for the garage.

Probably no more 30%. Or we will see during black friday and december (usually when they have several 30% offs in a short time period). It may become a once or twice a year event, or it may be completely gone by this point.

Doh! I just ordered a motor yesterday afternoon ($200) to replace the motor on my pool pump. I called Zoro - an American answered (OH/IL accent?) and they would not honor the new code retroactively (I don't blame them for that) but I might cancel my order since they have not shipped and pick up $50.

Either way on getting my free extra Grant, Zoro picked up the phone right away with a human being with good communication skills.

I have been wondering the same thing about 30% off. Last year they already had 30% off 2 or 3 times by now. I have not seen a single one yet.

Last year I also had ordered 2 or 3 times from them on those sales...This year I have yet to order with them.

All the stuff i've been eyeing is already at competitive prices, so this makes it completely worth it. I almost ordered last night, glad I waited. This coupon is about as good as it gets, lower total price with 25%. And yes, they're in Northern IL

Their price on Wera screwdrivers matches Amazon before any coupons. With a coupon, they blow everyone out of the water... I'm building up a travel toolbox so I don't have to gut my daily tools when I go on the road. Needless to say, every time they send out a coupon for a percentage off, or dollars of a small purchase, I'm buying a couple of pieces. If you do your homework, there's a lot to be saved on Zoro.

Bondhus tools are also very competitive, only a few percent more than Amazon, so a coupon makes them cheaper than anyone else. I'm trying to remember what else is worth buying regularly: Brady labeling supplies, 3M epoxy and adhesive, Panavise parts, Edsal tables, etc.

I took advantage of the 25% off. Like anything just have to compare prices. Picked up a Amerex 10lb ABC extinguisher and a Amerex pressurized water extinguisher. Priced about the same as amazon but 25% off and no sales tax (plus no shipping) made for a good deal.

has anyone tried to return item to zoro?

I ordered a power tool and have not used it, I found out the job requires a bigger one.

Their site did say just fill out the return form and there will be a return label (if not satisfied), no restocking fee? Is this really true. Item is about 25 lbs I found it odd they will not ding me for shipping either way.

Yes it's true. I had to return a defective IR air ratchet. I called them and they emailed me a shipping label no questions asked, and they sent me another as soon as they got confirmation of shipping of the defective one

Zoro's customer service is excellent. I returned a snow blower in transit because I ordered the wrong one. No problem at all and no charges.

Unable to wait 'till September

I noticed shopping Zoro's directory via Jet.com saved me extra thanks to 15% off, but processing time and sales tax makes the deal less favorable.
