I am looking at the bondhus pro hold bits, they are a good price and I wanted to try them out anyways. I just bought stuff last Thursday at 30% off too.

I have the L wrench set and its extremely handy for me since I have to remove some plugs in inaccessible places. Dropping them could mean a lot of time wasted. Taken a lot of abuse and only broken a 3mm ball so far but I think the bolt had locktite. Real happy with them.

I have my cart ready, pretty excited now that I don't have to wait 'till Black Friday and Cyber Monday :bounce:

Don't prep your cart, they're known to notoriously inflate prices before one of these sale events

I am going to check with miller about the rebates. The old rebates were honored, but they changed the submission process a bit. I have a friend that wants to order a welder, so we will have to see. I saw they list a zoro tools, but not sure if that is the same as zoro.com. I would hate to lose the rebate.

Back when they were getting rid of the non-inverter style Miller 211, I ordered 10 of them along with 20 spoolmates (ordered 2 spoolmates with 1 welder to get the rebate). They had no problem with me filling out 10 different rebates and I received everything pretty quick. I had an issue with filing one of them by the deadline and they were very accommodating.

$150 minimum is on the low end, I feel like it's been 200, 250 or even 300 before.

Checked on more prices, lots of things have gone up anywhere from 20-60%, which is disappointing.

Agreed on the limit being low this go around. I've seen no limit and $100 limit, but it's $200+ most of the time.

Curious what you've noticed go up so much? I keep a spreadsheet of Zoro items I'm interested in or could use down the road, and I'm not seeing anything that's gone up by more than $1-2.

I haven't seen cost go up but some items are 10 to 15% more than the average price elsewhere . So 30% is only 15% at other places it's still good but not great.

I'm in the Metabo 18v cordless ecosystem, so I watch a few of their items.

i.e. https://www.zoro.com/metabo-battery-pack-31ah-capacity-18v-us625343002/i/G4702601/

Used to be $99, is now $306. :eyecrazy:

https://www.zoro.com/metabo-cordless-jigsaw-barrel-grip-59-lb-sta18-ltx-140-bare/i/G4702735/

Bought this from Zoro for $220 about 6 months ago.

https://www.zoro.com/metabo-cordless-rotary-hammer-180v-li-ion-kha18-ltx/i/G0078106/

This was $250-ish iirc.

I'm stuck in the Metabo ecosystem too unfortunately. Their power tool prices seem pretty crazy. Had much better pricing through Amazon or Ebay (brand new items).

The hand tools seem to have not seen any crazy price bumps though from what I'm seeing/recognizing...

FYI...they don't have an exclusion on Sawstop at the moment. Even with their inflated prices and tax it still works out to be a better deal with the 30% off.

So I wanted to pick up a Ridgid Propress system during this flash sale. Went to the site and the price was $2,055.07. After 30% off that would be a pretty good deal. I added it to my cart and logged into my account. After logging in, the price jumped to $2,211.34.

WTF?

I logged in an out a few times and the price changes back and forth. I emailed Zoro about why logging into my account cues a price increase. I'll be curious to hear why...

Pricing algorithm based on cookies / user login info. If you keep checking on an item, it's price might change accordingly, just as with airline tickets.

I think there are problems with the cart software. I had quantities change on several items in my cart after logging in.

Wow, another 30% off for me. This was enough for me to pick up the new DeWalt 20v planer. Zoro pricing isn't bad at all on it and with 30% off + eBates 2% the prices come in at $136 shipped, although it is backordered right now. I am not in a hurry anyway. That is a lot lower than anywhere else.

Woohoo!

for what it is worth, it stays the same price (2055.07) when I add it to my cart, and I am logged in.

Just ordered $530 worth of Bondhus Pro Hold hex and torx bits, saved me $230 bucks! I love flash sales!!!

I ordered a lot of the larger sizes, I would just use bolt heads, but I figured now I won't have to. Probably never use a 2" hex or the 36 MM, but at least I can say I win!

Why does Zoro's price on the Milwaukee 2783-20 M18 braking grinder have to list for $43 more than almost all other dealers? After 30% off I can still get it cheaper on Amazon! I've purchased many M18 tools from Zoro in the past and normally their list price is only $10-$15 more than other dealers, which still makes the 30% off a great deal! Not on this one! Frustrating!!!

Totally hit or miss on pricing. That is why I always check before buying. Sometimes the 30% off only makes a little difference so I won't bother with a particular item unless I need it now. Then there are the times that it makes a big difference and is a great deal.

I feel bad for the people that have to pay sales tax, glad I am not one of them.

Nice!! Which one did you get? Yeah, I expect SS will clamp down on it (when they find out). Everywhere else they enforce list + $250 shipping and tax if your state mandates it.

Yea, you need to watch your prices. I bought the Metabo compact electric die grinder today and extra goodies. Zoro with the 30% off was still $35.00 less. THat's good savings for me.

Why do I always find something I want from Zoro after a 30% passes.... participated in the 30% last week but not the one 2 days ago. Today I see the Bosch 1617EVSPK would only be $184 after 30%....

I'm pretty sure I got the 1617EVSPK for around that price from Lowes a few years back. Also Amazon you might be able to get it around that price. However, I would not recomend that router unless your heart is really set on it. I've got it so I live with it but there are others I would have gotten instead. One of the biggest things I hate about it is that it has a micro adjuster knob, but you can't micro adjust it while the collar is clamped on it so you have to unclamp it, then micro adjust then clamp it and so it totally defeats the point of the micro adjuster.

I've got the PC 690 and Bosch 1617. I agree with the micro adjustment annoyance, but overall, I'm happy with it and recommend it to friends who are looking.

Trying not to derail this thread too much but if you had to pick again in that power class, what would you get? I've had the 1617EVSPK on my 'to buy' list for a while now but am definitely interested in in other options as well.

Ideally I'd want something that comes with a fixed and plunge base and can be relatively easily fitted to a router table if necessary, down the line. The less proprietary nonsense, the better.

Cant you use the above table height adjust key? Or is yours an older model that didnt have that?

Sounds awesome. I'd like to see a picture of those when they come.

Running out of stuff to buy from Zoro, even at discount. Picked up some lathe tooling this go-around.

One of my items from the last 30% arrived damaged. They refused to give me a partial refund and let me fix the damaged item. (Metal shroud on drum fan dented in) So have to wait another 2 weeks for replacement to get here and hassle of shipping it back. They said i was basically getting it at cost so they wouldn't go any lower. Was a little annoyed because the first person said they would partially refund, i just had to provide more pictures. So I did, then they just said no. I didn't notice the dent, so turned on the fan and figured it out really quick as the metal fan blades were hitting the shroud at high speed... lol

All I could get them to do was give me 30% towards another purchase and they are shipping a replacement fan. They initially tried to give me 20%, which is funny because they are running that on there site anyways right now. Seem pretty stingy considering my order history.

Little disappointing, just an FYI. Had better customer service experiences, but not terrible. At least they answer the phone fast.
