Little disappointing, just an FYI. Had better customer service experiences, but not terrible. At least they answer the phone fast.

Giving a partial refund comes out of Zoros pocket, UPS or whoever the carrier was will not give zoro a partial refund. If they claim it with UPS they get all their money back and rightfully so, UPS damaged it. Depending on what you bought, you were probably already getting the "scratch & Dent" price.

They are promptly shipping you out a new fan and gave you another coupon to use. I would say that's excellent customer service.

I could be wrong, but I think I buy a lot of things online and it has been my experience most places will do that if an item is damaged. My experience includes the big box stores like home depot.

That's been my experience as well. I'm guessing you probably paid cost for the item, and discounting it more equals a loss, sending you a new one and getting a refund from UPS means a bit of food on the table...even a wash is much better then a loss...

Not knocking ya, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :beer:

Anyone willing to donate a 25% off code? I'm not sure why I didn't get one, but it would save me about $50 on a drill press compared to what I can find it for anywhere else.

^^^Thanks! I discovered that Zoro is one of the few online places you can get Brakleen even close to local retail ---- if you have a promo code. Just got three cases of 05089 wasp killer, er I mean brake cleaner!!! Within a few pennies of local retail but it comes to my shop door and I don't have to pay my city or county slush fund so they can waste my tax dollars.

Auto parts stores are expensive, but Menards and Rural King run it on sale at $2.49 two or three times a year and Menards has their 11% rebate going on now, so I bought the local store out.

The answer is in what you quoted: 05089. Also 91314 works (I suspect this is Napa-specific but haven't done a web search to confirm). See post #15:

Never ever buy 50 state if you can avoid it. Doesn't work well for wasps, cleaning, removing perm marker and sprays in a mist that evaporates before it actually hits anything.

I've run into that a few times, but it always tends to be on brands where even with a 25 or 30% off, the price isn't too different from other retailers.

A lot of those brands don't make hand tools or generators at least as far as I know so they aren't even really excluded as they were never in it in the first place.
