I got to play with one of these things the other day and meant to feature it then, but forgot… In any case, it’s essentially a really expensive and incredibly well made tool that does something you can do with a $5 ruler without too much trouble. BUT, I still want one.

Woodpeckers does have seem neat, ingenious products.

I've got a few of their things... The attention to detail that they put into their stuff is crazy good. Expensive as hell, but so nice to use...
1. The 32" t-square:
https://www.woodpeck.com/tsquare32.html
I use it every single day.
2. The 1281 square:

I dropped mine and it's still square, but the corner is a little beat up... bums me out.
3. Dowling Jig:

Gifted to me and I don't use it much, but when I need it, it's awesome.

Woodpeckers stuff is great, I just wish they would quit with the One Time Tools. Some things should be available more than just once!

Very similar to a rivet spacing tool - used regularly in the aircraft field. While you could do it with a ruler, I wouldn't call it easy.
Here's a link to one:

I always love seeing the new tools they come out with, but have yet to buy a single one of them. Their pricing is always beyond what I can justify.

Looks very well made.
These are beautiful, special purpose tools, but I too have trouble justifying the cost. Their most recent offering is a radius jig appearantly machined from billet aluminum. Now this was something I though I could really use . . . Until I saw the price. $310 w/ shipping for the set of 4! Are you kidding me? I did a quick search for a similar product and found a plastic one from Rockler for cheap, but wondered how it would hold up. Then I did a search on eBay for “wood panel radius quick-jig” and turned up an interesting option.
It looks to be the exactly the same as Woodpecker’s, minus the engraving. The price for a set of 2 w/ case is only $29 w/ free shipping. Compare that to Woodpecker’s $87 for their set of 2 (no case). I have a tough time justifying $58 for some engraving. Mine should arrive soon. I’ll be interested to see how they look.
