I like the shelf idea for the cordless drills. I may have to steal that one. I also like the sand paper and sanding belt storage too.

That is definitely a beauty!

That shelf idea would solve a small problem with my drills in the Seville wall cabinets. Nice work. "I'm too **** for my tool cabinet, so ****..."

He did a nice job and it looks impressive, but like any woodworking project, if you broke it down into smaller projects, then it becomes a managable undertaking. the carvings on top, the box joint legs and the monogrammed centre are about the only things I see that are really advanced skills.

I see the bottom dropping out of the Lista market once Jack sees this...

Organization galore, everything has a place, and every space is utilized.

Who knows?
Holy **** that thing is beautiful.

Wish that guy would build me one for my "normal" tools. The price would be though the roof though.

Resale shops all over the country are selling armoires pulled from hotels/motels as they upgrade and install flat screen tv's cheap. A little creative hanging shelves, installing cubbies, arranging lights (sometimes already there), etc., and one of these can be assembled quite cheaply and quickly.

Gorgeous for sure. I really admire true craftsmanship. Here is a link for the Studley tool chest. This guy was a piano maker who made his own chest, and he lives up to his name!

My Dad loved woodworking and he built a beautiful toolbox for his woodworking stuff. Not as nice as this but definitely nice. One of the first woodworking projects I remember, under my Dads watchful eye, was to build my own tool caddy. I still have that tool caddy after 50 years and still think fondly of doing that project with my Dad.

There was a guy at SEMA a couple of years ago trying to sell wooden toolboxes. Unfortunately they were more like bedroom dressers than anything else and he was struggling to make a business out of it.

I sort of think that wooden cabinets are for wood working and steel cabinets are for working on steel things, like those found in your garage.

Outstanding craftsmanship.
One question: Why three different cordless drill systems?

I picked up a similar (in function) Thomasville cabinet at Salvation Army for $75 to do something similar. Bet it sold for $800 new. They are very common now as everyone switches over to flat-panel TVs on the wall or tabletop.
