Vintage Tool Restoration

So about a year ago I found this guy on YouTube that silently restores vintage tools. I’m pretty sure it’s a foreign production, but the quality is high and the tools are almost exclusively things that we would like. Unfortunately, he doesn’t make videos very often… but when he does, it’s really, really fun to watch. The above example documents his efforts with a 1950’s era tire pressure gauge, but he does vices and even a blow torch in other films. Check them all out here. See Comments on the forum.

The Studio Kitchen Cabinet & Shelf Build

So I made some wall cabinets… and some shelves. And while I’m super happy with the end product, I’m not all that proud of the video. It’s one of those things where I was just too focused on the build to consider the “story line” while I was shooting. In any case, I didn’t want all that footage to go to waste so I edited the video anyhow. I hope ya enjoy it. See Comments on the forum.

Compact Wera Bit Kit…

I should probably search TGJ before posting this as I’m sure someone has already spoke on this set, but I’m on the road and don’t have great internet access at the moment. In any case, a friend of mine just pulled one of these kits out of his travel bag and I was pretty impressed with the contents – super compact and pretty high quality. Toolbox Widget

I got an email inquiring about advertising the other day from the makers of something called the Toolbox widget. Ever appreciative of the support, I decided to feature their product today.
