I have a lot of Gedore, Hazet and Stahlwille. There are only a few other makes I want in my tool box (as I live near Germany, good second hand tools are picked up easily by these makers, so it's easy to maintain a high standard). The first tool I choose to use is however almost always a Stahlwille tool. The ratchets just feel that bit more precise, handtools are just a bit more comfortable to use and fit is always good (and, I'm blunt and up to now in 20 years of my own tools, I only managed to wreck a Stahlwille ratchet and a extension wrench - don't extent them by two meters ......). It was a revelation when someone gave my some Stahlwille tools to replace my first set of elcheapo tools ....... so for me, Stahlwille anytime (eventhough Gedore and Hazet are both brilliant tools as well).
