Hey, I are a carpeter!!!!!Imagine joining a construction crew with those hammers.![]()
Never even a sliver, those things are as fragile as…. Well I can’t think of anything as fragile as those.lolDidn't you get cut up?

Broken Christmas decorations were soooooooooo low on the list..But I bet you got thumped by your parents!

Finally had time to clean up the Niehoff Tune Up cabinet. Here's what was inside, let me know if you need any of these things for some weird reason. The cabinet will go up on the wall and hold all NOS boxes in the future. I had no idea the torque wrench was in there, definitely a bonus. Our current arrangement is that my brother is usually the buyer/seller and I assist in any way that I can (extra set of eyes, climbing around in dark attics, and carrying items to the truck). In return I get to keep items that fit my collection/garage. Here's what I brought home from the tractor mechanic's pick.
Phillips 66 can, Paint Thinner can, JD 2 Cycle, JD Paint, Mobile Upperlube, brake fluid cans, and Eagle Scan Can Oiler. I'll post more over at the Show Your Oiler Cans. Also a couple Barcalo Craftsman and John Deere wrenches.
Foxbilt Feeds flange sign, Tomco Bred Corn flange sign, Tomco Bred Corn masonite sign, Carlson license plate topper and old 40s Olds hubcap. The Tomco flange sign still had wax paper on it which some ruins signs after many decades. Found a couple signs like that and it dropped their value about 75%.
Doorman Freeze plug box with plugs which will go along nicely with my Doorman nuts and bolts display. Finally the Niehoff Tuneup cabinet. Haven't inventoried the contents but it will probably be where I store other NOS items that we stumble across.

You may be thinking of Proto and Plomb. Proto was Plomb until the name changed due to lawsuit with Plumb Tool (hammers). What's the connection between Porto and Snap-on? Were they made from the same parent company back in the day, thought I read that somewhere?
Yep, definitely cut up and welded back together.Probably is welded. In person looks more like thick, sloppy paint.
I’ll take them off the board and investigate further.

Looks like maybe seconds that were rejected and somebody had some fun.![]()

I still managed to pull a few good items that tickled my fancy.
Like this sample!-also got a ww1 dated canteen with cover and cup for $5
The canteen, cup and cover are all dated 1918.![]()

I didnt know that at the time. I was walking by a table and saw it sitting there all lonesome and asked the seller how much. He said $5 and I said sold. For $5 with intact buttons and cup, I'm not walking away from it. I found a ww1 dated canteen a few weeks ago but the cover was missing the back loop. This is a nice example....Although it's a dirty example. But it will get washed and put on the shelf. I really want to find a porcelin canteen like you have and also the more uncommon Ethocel version. I've never seen one in person, only on line. One day I'll find one in all its yellowish, plastic gloryI see the 1918 canteens fairly regularly still, but the cover and cup with the 1918 date are really rare.
Thanks! I put a dent in things. The blackhawk port-a-power was in the big building towards the back. Did you see it by chance? It had a bunch of stuff piled on it and was behind some tables. Dudes didnt seem real motivated to sell it but my rusty gold eagle eye spotted it!WOW Smoke, you really pulled it in after I took off. Good job, excellent show!

It looks like a brake shoe spring retainer tool. For removing the cup washers on the springs holding the shoes against the backing plates.

All Those related tool hints too!It looks like a brake shoe spring retainer tool. For removing the cup washers on the springs holding the shoes against the backing plates.
Ppfftt you guys are so dumb, it’s clearly a sawset.![]()
I honestly thought it was a driver (made by Blackhawk) for knurled nuts before anyone else said anything. Come to think of it I think I have used one a few years ago.Lesser, in the fourth picture of your second set, what is the top tool with screw driver style handle? BTW-- a great haul, I would give a USuck.
Tom B.
Found these for $1 each and the adjustable is a non conductive brass 4” Ampco.
