Yup, that’s the one we had. Lived in a camper for a year or two, parked it in an insulated shed for winter, and proper plumbing wasn’t really a thing. There were four of us kids and then the baby happened along.
I thought it was Nanook Rubs It.My DWV lines have a tendency to freeze in the winter. I mounted a nice toilet seat to a five-gal bucket so it's somewhat comfortable.
And, yes, Zappa. Apostrophe is the album. Side B, Nanook.
Nanook Rubs It--in a circular motion.I thought it was Nanook Rubs It.
Or St. Alphonso’s Pancake Breakfast. Perhaps between the two? I never had the actual album, it’s confusing.
A circular motion hitherto unknown in these parts. It’s been a while but yeah, good stuff.Nanook Rubs It--in a circular motion.
Gawds, I'm a geek.
I was finally forced to cancel Frank from my MP3 player--but I still have all the files I ripped from vinyl.A circular motion hitherto unknown in these parts. It’s been a while but yeah, good stuff.
Most of my friends cannot stand my taste in music. Lol
WaveRaider? Those were a ****** handling POS, all about top speed back then. Choppy water was not a friend when running any speed.I took apart a 1997 Waverunner so I could get in there and do an R@R on the midshaft housing that was leaking. Then I pulled apart the carb rack........it had NEVER been apart! You can see how the paint chips off around the screw heads when they've been opened up. I found slightly deformed diaphragms but they weren't crispy......and they were pretty clean too. Not to shabby for a set of 28 year old carbs!!
Isn't that the track right after Yellow Snow? If so, then I think it's on the A side, cause my wiggly brain says that whenever I'd drop that on the turntable, I'd get hit with Yellow Snow.My DWV lines have a tendency to freeze in the winter. Nope, WaveVenture (3 seater). The triples are VERY difficult to work on inside this hull.........BUT, the whole front hood and fuel tank can be removed in about an hour to gain access. I only had to remove the exhaust pipe and engine mounts and just slid the whole engine forward into the gas tank location to work behind it.WaveRaider? From what I’m seeing, that is correct.Isn't that the track right after Yellow Snow? If so, then I think it's on the A side, cause my wiggly brain says that whenever I'd drop that on the turntable, I'd get hit with Yellow Snow.

Also the aforementioned shed had no windows, did I mention it sucked?
But I will say, it was an interesting character-building experience. Lol.
Then when we did get a “house” (house trailer/mobile home) it was still buckets, because the composting toilets we tried were a scam. I think we were there for 8 years. I don’t miss the toilet situation.![]()

Nice job on that. I like how you've got a swinging door for the trash.Built a new work bench.
Actually, no. Lol. That comes more from my love of noisy diesel engines. Is this where you got your username from??

Yea they are. All the ones with white labels have two different ends in a drawer. The bottom ones I filled with my misc hydraulic fittings/adapters and couplers. Probably a bunch of **** down there I’ll never use but it’s all in the same place now !!@jblnut - Are the red bins all loaded with various hose ends or is that just oher parts stock?
Paint is there to protect the metal from the elements. Beyond that. I have no idea why folks obsess about how it looks.Polished the new car and then waxed it.
The paint isn't smooth to the touch. Polishing helped but it wasn't the cure.
Not going to fret about it.

It's really a poor paint job. But a D is still passing.A lot of modern cars have an orange peel finish.
I made a lot of progress on a long gestating workbench, with Benchcrafted hardware. The tail vise is almost fully installed which means the top is about 80% complete. It's been slow as other jobs in the shop have been at the forefront because work but happy to take my time with this workbench.
That had several practical purposes:I seem to remember someone obsessing about a coat of finish on a table.![]()
I just hope the big one doesnt hit while I am at work. Cant get in or out without crossing a very old bridge no matter how I try to leave. I work in Everett, WA. Waterfront city north of Seattle.I have one of those seats and some plastic bags in our earthquake supplies. Other supplies are stored in the Homer bucket.
Gotta be prepared where we live.
