I got that northern hose/reel last year for christmas and am very happy with it.

paid nearly $70 for it on last year's sale I think.

Thank you. I picked one up online today and will wait for them to deliver it to my local store for free. I almost got two, but then thought that would be overkill.

When this deal comes around, I usually stock up on Gojo Cherry and Royal Purple but neither of those are on sale right now.

Home Depot used to sell these. I got a set early last year when they were clearancing them out. They are great to work with and have triangle-shaped handles and great blade tips.

Okay so I didn't see this deal posted yet... sorry if it has been...

FEIN multimaster $50 rebate on any package. That means the one for $209 becomes $159. That's the cheapest I have seen it... it still is way more expensive than the HF model and so are the accessories but it sure is a nice tool. By the way, I searched google and fortunately I was able to find a place that sells diagrams and replacement parts for the Fein. So if the tool ever does fail and is out of warranty you should be able to repair it yourself for a decent price if you have a little technical ability... just FYI.

I hope this post is useful to some people here...

LIGHTNING DEAL on Equus 3150 Can-OBD-II +ABS scanner, at Amazon for $130. Deal expires in under four hours, it's $30 off Amazon's usual price just like the last one. Does not do live data or real-time datalogging, so for diagnostics this is a rather "dumb" scanner. You can do better and for less money in a C•Reader V or a laptop/smartphone-based solution, though you sacrifice ABS with the C•Reader V you gain much more real functionality with much less cost.

@Stuey:

Nice, I didn't know that... makes the deal even better. Thanks, I'll have to keep that in mind :) By the way, I know this might sound crazy to you but is there an adapter that will allow you to use HF blades on the Fein tool? For what I would use the tool for there is a big chance I might damage some of the blades by accident and the Fein replacement blades are too expensive. I'd probably use the Fein blades for some very precise cutting of wood on some projects but when I have to undercut door jams and similar tasks I'd be really worried that I would hit a nail and destroy my wood blade. (this has already happened to me several times while using a different but similar tool).

I know of no HF adapter, but there are Bosch and Dremel adapters that allow the use of those brands' accessories on the newer Fein multi-tools.

http://toolguyd.com/2010/11/free-bosch-ois-adapter-and-3-5-woodmetal-blade/

Free Bosch adapter and a free blade.

Dremel adapter costs $5 and should be available. I didn't see them at local HD or Lowes stores yet, but that might have changed in the past week, 2 weeks.

Thanks Stuey! I registered for mine and can't wait for it. Are there any other brand blades that will fit the HF model?

Just got my HF flyer and there are a few deals. Spend $19.99 and get a free steel/fiberglass hammer. The two shelf service cart is down to $29.00 and there are 44 coupons in the flyer.

Isn't it funny how EVERY HF flyer I get says, "This is your LAST monthly savings book!"

Thanks Stuey!!

If Chicago Electric is chosen, will we still get the adapter?
I believe that any option but Bosch will receive the adapter. They're not going to send you a blade without an adapter for a tool that's not natively compatible with the OIS system.

Genesis generic import oscillating multitool, $35 at Amazon for the next two weeks, down from $40. I can't see why anyone who will actually use this tool would go for a generic import when you can get a real deal...

Dremel Multi-Max plug-in model, factory reconditioned, $49 at Amazon, down from $55 last time it was available. This was out of stock for a while and given the nature of reconditioned tool supplies may not stay on the shelf too long. Advantage: Dremel for quality and the absolute biggest distribution network for their accessories, every hardware store you'll ever set foot in.

Don't forget to register for free Bosch goodies with your oscillating tool, details at toolguyd.

That's $5 less than that cart was this weekend, bah. Now I feel like I lost $5.

The Dremel Multi-Max did drop in price from $55 via Amazon directly, nice find. The thing is, there are so many refurbished units that I wonder why. There have been mass amounts of refurbished units for a while now. I never heard about any major flaws or consumer disappointment about the tool, so I'm wondering who/where they're coming from. Still a great buy, and I haven't read any complains about the refurbs either.

I tried seeing if the new Woodcraft $10 of $25 coupon works on the Dremel, but it doesn't. Ah well.

So NOW Enco comes out with their free shipping offer with $99 purchase, which is what I was waiting for, and bought too early. Promo code HFSDEC. Last month it was 15% off of $199 (which translates almost exactly into free shipping and no tax...yes, they tax CA even tho they're in NV).

Went to Big Lots today (4 days after black friday) and they still had those skil x benches, for $79.
What's the big fuss with this bench? It just looks like a folding table.

It's more of a folding workbench than just a a table.

I still want one, but have absolutely no space for one. =(

I don't like to do power sawing indoors, so I saw the X-Bench as a great "take it outside" Workmate substitute.

Was the $35 deal only yesterday....they show a lot higher now...
I still see $34.99 at checkout. Make sure to use the couoin code for free shipping!

I don't have dust collection either, which is very apparent when my father wants to come down without notice and make a mess when I'm not there. Thanks Dad.

They show $35 at Rockler with free torx drivers still...

I do have dust barriers and a new Fastcap miter saw dust shield I haven't used yet, but it's still not ideal to release any amount of dust in a closed poorly vented environment.

I like to do most of my dirty work in my parents' backyard, which requires lugging tools and equipment ~50 miles. Sometimes our older B&D Workmate just isn't big enough.
