just because you listed them both together (ie, you probably know this already), but those allen/torx/etc shouldn't be used with an impact. dskatools has a nice sunex torx impact set (i just got it). i'm guessing are allen kits from sunex/genius/grey pneumatic.
the only 'problem' with the 231 impacts are how loud and heavy they are. for someone working in their garage, probably not a big issue. the big advantage (to me) of the IR2135/Nitrocats is A) QUIET - way quieter than the 231, and B) MUCH LIGHTER, way easier on the arm when working in awkward positions. i think those two are also significantly more powerful than the 231, but at least the IR2135 is probably 2x the price and the 231 is no weakling.
lots of folks have made a living swinging a 231 though - tough and reliable as hell. never used that ratchet, but its an IR air product; probably not bad
ahm

How does the Spend $100 get $50 work? I could not get it to work in my cart.

Does anyone have the code for the $50 bucks off that they sent when the promotion was over? I remember it was a simple code but it got deleted.
I was in Home Despot tonight and picked up a set of three Senco air nailers for $199 with a wheeled travel bag and some other goodies. Had a finish nailer, brad nailer and a stapler. The tool bin guy said it was a Christmas-only special and wouldn't be restocked. They also had 10-20% of their leftover Christmas-special Task-Force tools.

I assume you mean the cheapo Husky stuff![]()
If your talking about Advanced Auto Parts. They email the code to your email account. You must be registered when you make the original $100 purchase. Ben
Lucky you... the ones near me are still asking about $40 for that set.
EDIT: Nevermind, the website is now showing $29.... excellent... if using the $10 off $25 that means the set would be like $20... that is an unbeatable price. I'm buying a set...!
does anyone have any codes other than the DC30 for advance auto?
Advance auto has their Gearwrench socket sets on sale. 13 piece SAE and Metric sets are 22.94 + tax. The metric is part number 80558

Also showing $47 for me? LIES!
WOW 9% sales tax I thought Wi was bad at 5.5%
Yes, I was surprised how high it was when I moved here. Last year the legislature passed a 1% sales tax increase to help the state get through a budget crunch. Topeka's sales tax was already high because of local taxes, but the 1% pushed it up to 9%.
