Yeah, I was looking for a regulator to use with the DIY smoke tester found here. Being an IR regulator, it was just too nice to use so crudely. So I'm ordering one and thought I would post it here as well. The shop that I am currently in is horrible about draining the tanks- you can open up the lines and it will just shoot water into the air. So I'm going to mount one of these on one of my service carts and attempt to use that as a hookup for my own air tools.

If anyone is looking for a chainsaw I was looking around over at arborsite and someone said that Home Depot is selling off their rental saws. They are Makita 6401 saws, made in Germany. Apparently the price varies from store to store and by how many times they've been rented and the prices are ranging from $175- $250ish.

I have been looking for set of these for awhile. I was hoping Cripe Distributing would get them in but they only have the SAE set. I was looking around at amazon and found this. It is a new amazon seller for what ever that is worth. I have actually bid on used sets on ebay but my limit was always $105 and I never won.

About $100 (with shipping). There were 11 when I looked but I am willing to bet it was a pricing mistake or a lure and they pulled it as soon as the orders started coming in.

Too bad its not the whole line-up. I'd consider the impact driver or 1/4" driver. Couldnt care less about the 3/8 drill.

Thats not a great price either. I want to say Amazons normal price was around $110 and i know Lowes had all of them at around $100 for a time also.

Damn! I've been looking for this very set for a decent price for ages. All the techs I see during the day love this design from Matco, I really want to try them but I wanted to find a set for less than ~$150. I'm with jpo_tdi on this one, $100 would make it worth my while.

Hopefully it will be a real deal on the Gearbox wrenches. The order has not been canceled yet and the contact number for the seller MKIndustrial is the same as Cripes Distributing. The prices was $85 with $14 for shipping. Looks like someone scarfed up several sets. Keep searching. There are always another good deal around the corner. That is why this forum is so dangerous.

Just got the two sets today that I ordered last week. They were long gone from the general True Value site (would have been free shipping...), but Honey Do still has them (cost about ten dollars for shipping the two sets). No sales tax, so that covers part of the shipping.

The same gearwrench sets have been on sale at Sears hardware for $34.99. I picked up the Metric last week tax free in the Newark, DE location. Great price for a nice set!

Possible deal/steal on Snap on box/chest? I don't know enough to know for sure if it's a deal or not so I thought I'd post it here and let you decide - no affiliation just looks like a good buy...

is it just me or could there be some damage on the front top box - top drawer but still a good deal if you can replace a drawer or two... too bad it's on the east coast and I am on the west coast or else I'd get it myself!

Here's hoping it is a good deal for someone in Virginia or close enough on the east coast....

I received the IR ARO Series 1500 combo today. The COO is South Korea, but the unit is well-built with no machining issues. Compared to the cheapies I've been looking at this was one heck of a deal for $46.

I thought that it had been well-decided per the coupon stipulations that the 20% is not valid toward tool carts/boxes. Isn't this true? Because if it's not...I'm wondering if I can get away with 20% off the big red top box...:headscrat

I think the answer was that you could use the 20% off with the CARTS.. They are not listed as toolboxes. You can't use the 20% coupon with Tool BOXES be they uppers or lowers...

Of course you can always TRY and maybe you will succeed.

Yeah, yeah, I know... but it's a good deal...

My local Sears Hardware (Shelton, CT) had the Craftsman Evolv 1/2 Ratchet #10032 on clearance for $7.97. Not a single 1/4" or 3/8" ratchet in the house. They're still full price on the website. Don't know if they're being discontinued or what, but good enough deal to throw one in the travel kit.
