How did you get the price on the tool cab. to $40?
Yup .... I had to go and run the cleaner to remove the cache file as suggested.

Could have used this earlier today. The cash register spit one out with the receipt as well, so if you have $100 worth of stuff to buy, I would just buy half of it at one time. I am also using the "tax refund" gift card they were pushing earlier this month, which equals another 10% off. I'm in the midst of a duplex rehab, so I am in there just about every day....

The 2nd or 3rd post on slickdeals has a good tip if you want multiple coupons.

I might post about the coupon on ToolGuyd now that you mention it, and if I do, I'll still credit you. I try to avoid posting about Lowes coupons too often since a barrage of emails begging for non-expired coupons usually follow.
Or use different browsers. I used IE and then opened chrome incongito mode. Incognito/private mode doesn't save any cookies.

If you are using firefox you can use "private browsing " under the tools tab. Just copy the url before starting private browser.

I'm not shooting the messenger, but they are both "Quiet Glide" chests, which means no ball bearing sliders for the drawers, which is a pretty significant disadvantage, especially for the larger drawers (that would presumably have more weight/tools in them).

That looks an awful lot like the little unit I bought with the small work top on it when they first came out a few years back. It's a decent little tool box for the price. I'm wondering too how you got it for around $40. Is there another discount you can apply to it? Craftsman club or something? I'd love to pick up a couple of these for that price.
Also, for the Lowes coupon deal. Open multiple tabs before you enter the code and you should be able to get multiple access points and get a coupon to print out in each tab. I printed 4 last night that way using Firefox. I also entered the Private browsing under the Tools menu. That prevnts Lowes from installing a cookie in the browser so you can keep clicking on teh link to bring up the new codes for the coupon.

John and Corcoran - no I paid the $60. I was only saying that it was like buying a $40 box since I was going to use the casters for other projects (i.e., it prevented me from having to spend the $20 or so that I would have had to had I not bought the cabinet). This is how I justify purchases to myself. If I thought the casters were worth $80, I would have made money on the deal.

I got that email from Lowe's and took the coupon in yesterday. I checked out, got my $10 discount and the girl at checkout told me there was another $10 coupon on the bottom of my receipt. Used that $10 coupon and got another one on my next receipt. Don't know if that's just in my area or not.

I really do not see why you consider this spam. Major web sites are willing to pay out money to get people to shop at their web stores. I would guess most of this money ends up going to other web sites. Have you ever seen a business web site with a link/ad from another web site? This program I have invited people to join gets that money back to the consumer, and it includes many web sites I've been shopping at for years anyway. I earned about $75 cash back in the last 10 days or so shopping with this program, (Newegg, Tire Rack, Target, and Delia's), and can attest to the fact that it is legit, and does work. I paid to have this web site set up for my business customers to use, but since I have already paid all the fixed costs, I saw an opportunity to offer it to you folks. If you don't like the idea, don't use it. I do know that a lot of the web stores that are of interst to the folks on this board DO participate and offer cash back, (which is the whole reason I posted it here!)
Maybe if you'd linked to rb.retailbenefits.com instead. With briarcliff it's clearly a referral link, which you (or briarcliff) would get some kickback from.
FWIW, there are several cashback sites out there. I use fatwallet.com (all the time) and ebates.com (rarely) myself. I've earned over $122 in fatcash so far.

I don't participate in any rebate programs, but if I did it would be fatwallet as well.
@ Skyline, we see this as spam since it seems highly likely that you're inviting new memberships for your own benefit and profit.
Plus, it is against most programs' terms of service to offer monetary compensation to customers for clicking on links.

This is a VERY similar program to FatWallet. But it's a little different set up because of corporations like mine absorbing some of the operating cost. I would guess that the net amount that Retail Benefits takes is probably smaller than what FatWallet takes, but that's just a guess based on looking at what the shopper gets. For example, here are some sample cash back figures:
Tire Rack 3.3% FW 4% RB
New Egg 1.5% FW 3.2% RB
Best Buy N/A FW 4% RB
Home Depot 3% FW 4% RB
Macy's 3% FW 2.4% RB
Target N/A FW 5.6% RB
I guarantee that FatWallet has affiliations that Retail Benefits does not, and the opposite is certainly true. Major web stores were missing from both lists...but they were different sites missing from each one. But you can see from the examples above that the net payment from Retail Benefits is quite good, and generally better than FatWallet (Macy's was the only exception on the few that I just checked here). So regardless of who's making what, both of these programs can put some serious change back in your pocket.

I didn't say that I agree with their methods either, only they're the biggest fish in the pond.
It also sounds like you and your business stand to benefit from this program as well. You keep some of the affiliate commissions and give a portion to the registered members that earn you those commissions. As such, I don't think that this "hot deal" thread is the appropriate place to pitch your program. If it were the place for that sort of thing, you would have everyone and their cousin posting tagged Amazon affiliate links, asking for people to click on them with the promise of a portion of the commission.
