Does that mean the Items will go on sale Thanksgiving day in the morning?
If that is the case there is no sense getting there 5:00 AM and fighting the crowds.
As I am mainly looking at the Mag lights and the Shop Vac.

The nature of BF is that they want to sell a LOT of merchandise to get store profit out of the red and into the black. Some items will be door busters, crazy price, limited quantity, those are best forgotten about. Lots will be junk, high list prices they cut in half and still no bargain. Buy only stuff you really need, that really has a good price, and there should be at least some of that around.

As far as I know, Lowes is closed on Thanksgiving day. There will be plenty of Mags and Vac's until at least 8 or 9am on Friday. Heck, my Lowes had the 2D lights for a few days.

What charger came with your kit? I ordered mine online and didn't think to look at the kit model number when I picked it up last night. Brought it home, opened it up and saw the charger was the all Black (NiCd only) charger. Looked at the box and it was DCK241X instead of the DCK251X I ordered. Went back this morning and the 3 other boxes they had were all the 241. Made them swap out the charger for the Li/Ncd one shown in the ad.

I'm thinking about going to walmart about 11:00 PM Thursday and trying to get the HP computer for $298.00.

If you are going to WM, why not just the MagLites there and pricematch them? They have already stated they will match BF pricing with ads.

If you got a 241 instead of 251 you might want to exchange the drill as well. The DCK251X comes with the dcd950 while the DCK241X comes with the dcd951 drill.

I cant be the only one who goes into the stores on tuesday and wednesday before bf when it's quiet and stash my merchandise in unrelated parts of the store and go back friday night to buy, am I?

I don't remember who or for what reason, but someone showed how that can be construed as shoplifting since you're depriving the store of the ability to sell the item. People do that around here and then buy huge quantities to resell. Doing it with 1 item is less scummy than doing it with 12, but it's still frowned down upon.

I believe the only difference between the 950 and the 951 is the 951 is sold as a bare tool (no battery). I WILL be calling Dewalt in the morning to confirm.

Problem is that the sale ends tomorrow and the next closet Lowes is an hour away. Plus I would have to obtain another movers coupon.

I did this last year at target, GF wanted a bunch of stuff and both of us used to work at the store we stashed the stuff at. We put it behind the pharmacy counter, walked over loaded our cart went and checked out before anyone else made it to the check out. Worked great.
