If you want to see Amazon's price offering history for something they sell, checkout http://www.camelcamelcamel.com. Find the item on amazon, copy the URL of the page, and enter it into the product search on camelcamelcamel.com. If you did this for this obd scanner, you'd see it's pricing history and know, a better deal could be had at amazon if you wait or set up an account with camelcamelcamel and have them notify you when your target price is reached. Nice feature btw

It works great for validating prices elsewhere. If amazon has never sold the x-beam gear wrenches for even close to the price at sears, like a couple of days ago, it's probably a good deal.

Search shows the scanner can be had on Amazon if you wait for $10 less.

Nice! Upcoming wera deal on amazon.

There was a long run where this rachet was $60 - $80. I bet it's not $60 for their lightning deal.

Apparently a great tool if you are a fencing and guardrail specialist..

:)

Seems to big and cumbersome for everyday tasks

Just because something on Amazon was one price one time does not mean it will ever drop to that price ever again.

I have a couple of items in my cart and on my wishlist, and I've been waiting for them to drop for months and even years. Looks like it'll never happen.

$90 for the ratchet that's a hammer. Doesn't seem like much of a deal either.

Last time when I saw the wera screwdriver for $19, I thought it is a joke for a screwdriver. Now it is $29.11, still a joke.

Meh, I'm disappointed.

$29 and $91 for the ratchet are okay, but I was hoping for better.

I'll pass and hold out for a better deal.

Did you not like it or just didnt have a practical use for it?

I thought about grabbing one and the driver if they were really discounted enough.

As Stuey noted, the Koloss is much more useful if bought as the complete kit (which includes the extension). The ratchet head is built like a tank and with the extension it makes a good ratcheting breaker bar. That's the primary use for mine. It's not a substitute for a normal 1/2" ratchet for automotive work; the head's too big. I find it handy for removing stuck lugs, working on farm and lawn equipment, etc.

The Hitachi leaf blower is on sale for 99.99 at Amazon right now on lightning deal. I don't think the Hitachi rebate from earlier this year is still good now but it is the same price that WOOT via Amazon had a month ago. I got one of these then and it really works well. 7 year consumer warranty and well built. Good reviews on most sites.

Well I think my 21" self propelled mower would start screaming like a little girl if it saw me walking toward it with that Koloss lol

I bought a couple for $20 and $25 for personal use and to giveaway.

$20 might seem high until you see how much just the bit holder part goes for.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X1R26Q/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The longer one that comes with the screwdriver sells for $17.

I bought one for $12 or so to use with cordless tools, and it's damn worth it, best bit holder I've ever used.

I just posted this on my thread I started, but thought folks should know I got the dewalt 12v max drill and impact cordless DEWALT DCK211S2 kit with the extra battery for $128.25

Just remember to add the battery it's free and the extra $25 off makes it's $128.25 for the kit.

Let us know how you like it!

I reviewed the Dewalt 12V Max drill/driver a couple of months ago, and it remains one of my favorites. The impact driver is also high up on my list. Something about the entire product line agrees with me.

$130 for the kit and an extra battery is a GREAT price!

They're on sale for $25.29 at Overton's, free shipping on orders over $100. Plus you can use 2% eBates cash back.

Craftsman 7 pc. Metric Cross Force Reversible Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set
Reg Price: $124.99, on sale for $62.49

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944851000P#specs

As I was browsing the Sears website, I saw this and thought it was a good deal. Then I noticed that that it doesn't include an 11 MM wrench (which a reviewer confirmed isn't available separately, either). Pretty stupid.

Might be some hope for the Grainger SK flex ratchets. They had told me last week my order for two had been cancelled. So, I placed another order for two.

Then I got this email:
Item number 12D277 is no longer available. I have cancelled this from the order. An alternate is: 2CEG5. Please review and advise if you would like that item added to the order.

Then I got this:
I apologize, this item is not discontinued.
We actually have 1 in stock, the lead time would be about 4/5 business days and then the 2nd one would be a couple weeks out.
Once again, I apologize for the confusion. Let me know if you would like me to order in.

Then this:
Thank you, 1 will ship out today.

My others are supposedly still active and on backorder.......

My suspicion is that only the ones Grainger had in stock were available at the discounted price and the ones on backorder right now will be sold to you at the regular price. Keep your eye on your bill. When the backordered one arrives, it could appear as an $80+ charge on your card.

Now, commence all the complaints about the chat on the Grainger SK deal! :bounce:

I printed out your picture and took it to my local HD and they actually price matched the photo. Thank you.

Anyone have a copy of that Ridgid 5 piece HD discount price? The local store has 1 left at full freight?

Just at Sears Outlet store -- 50% off everything including toolboxes, etc. Starts Thursday 12.7.2011 at the Outlet stores only. There are some good deals to be had for the garage. Typically these stores have more stuff then what is listed online -- so you need to drive there to look.

Did you go to the outlet on 6th Ave. in Tacoma? Typically when I go there, there isn't any decent stuff other than the one time they had a craftsman pro upper and lower big box for under $800.
