If you want to see Amazon's price offering history for something they sell, checkout http://www.camelcamelcamel.com. Find the item on amazon, copy the URL of the page, and enter it into the product search on camelcamelcamel.com. If you did this for this obd scanner, you'd see it's pricing history and know, a better deal could be had at amazon if you wait or set up an account with camelcamelcamel and have them notify you when your target price is reached. Nice feature btw
It works great for validating prices elsewhere. If amazon has never sold the x-beam gear wrenches for even close to the price at sears, like a couple of days ago, it's probably a good deal.
Search shows the scanner can be had on Amazon if you wait for $10 less.
