No pictures of your build? Or is it you don't have a real motorcycle either? Real constructive contribution to the thread
+1 Dont get the thought process there. "I'm gonna get on the internet and tell some people their bikes ****". And the guy has over 3,000 posts? hope they're all as helpful as the one about "real bikes"

Only nice one here, you guy's are still in the 60's, building bikes for looks and not for riding, how do they corner? How do they stop with a single front disc? How are they on a 2000 mile ride? Modern motorcycles have gone way past the HD ****, very fast, corner well, adjustable windshield and all day long comfort, step into the future, don't get lost in the past. I ride a Honda ST 1300 120 hp 0-60 3.5 seconds, corners like a dream, ride 1000 miles a day no problem, best engine in a motorcycle, and do I have to say it smooth, no paint shaker ****.

It's comical to see comments like this, motorcycles are all about what you are into. I have no desire to ride 1000 miles on a bike, and running fast through the corners isn't my thing either, I like the way bikes look, anything I do will be just around town. The ST1300 is a great machine but I have no use for one, but a naked wing is high on my list, they are really cool.

So trashing folks for what they enjoy IMO is pretty lame, and based on your comments and the pic you might have seen of my bike, I am stuck in the early '40's, and really enjoy it....

I'm all about rice bikes too! Raced MX for 20 years. I apreciate them all!! First st bike was a 73 Honda Cb 750. The fastest production bike of the day when I had it. Then a Kz 900 , Honda CBX , Yamaha Xs 1100..You on the other hand no **** about motorcycles:headscrat Modern HD's have fuel injection,Electronic cruise,ABS, Duel disc brakes with ABS Satalite alarms etc!! This thread isnt about store bought bikes. Build one and come back! PS turn your Tv on and watch the drag bikes on there! see who's fast!

.... cut rest of the silly stuff .....

I've had lots of different bikes, for one purpose or another. My old Iron Horse was fun, as so was my last one, Honda Valkyrie Tourer. They're all fun. Amazing work done here. Real amazing. All here are sweet.

Thanks guys I figured he was enough of a **** for both of us...

I've never been able to relate to "bikers" with his mentality. I've owned and ridden alot of 2 wheeled machines in my 40 years of riding, and I can honestly say every single one of them put a smile on my face in some way or another. That is what it is all about, getting some enjoyment out of what you are doing, building is an extension of that. Looking down on someone for what they have built, or what they are riding is just being closed minded(and a ****).

Now back to the topic, all of these bikes are awesome, there is alot of talent on here.

If you guys want to check out some cool builds go to bikeexif.com, alot of cool builds on there.

This bike is sweet. I dont think I would paint it! No disrespect but the "rat-rod" or "junkyard dog" look would be menacing! If there was a way hide the rear springs would be cool. A good name for this bike would be you sig "Sasquach"

Thanks Dan . I also think it looks sweet without the shocks but being my first build I didnt want to go to crazy with a hardtail . Maybe the next one . As far as paint goes I'm thinking satin black frame with the tank and side covers new camaro green and chrome fenders .
