In the interests of everyone here at GJ, let's post information as we receive shipping and confirmation details and certainly when we receive the package.

I wouldn't be worried yet, especially since it doesn't say it was going Priority. I purchased something off ebay almost 4 weeks weeks ago. Seller shipped it USPS Parcel Post right away, and it took 18 days for me to receive it. My worst USPS experience to date, but it did end up arriving.

I don't understand why any of you would panic about getting scammed. If you do, you'll get you money back 100%, as eBay will always side with a buyer (as a seller, you will get burned because of this, personal experience). The only thing to worry about is not getting the ratchet for $75.

Does anyone know what the wholesale price is for these ratchets? I'd imagine well below $75...

Just got my payment refunded... I guess I'll wait for the ratchet till next time one goes on sale.

Yup, me too. Probably just as good as i don't really need one right now. And the craftsman industrial sales have lightened my wallet quite a bit

Did the seller refund on his own, or did you guys file a report/claim and were awarded the money? I also bought one, but haven't seen item or refund yet.

Mine was automatic.

If you don't have one yet I would wait, there is no reason to file a complaint yet, as they may have just found out that there was only 20 and not 40...

Me three. I just received a refund. I bet the sales went through so quickly they were oversold and he is now balancing everything back out. Oh well, it wasn't something that I just had to have and like already mentioned, maybe I'll ****** one next time.

If I don't have to fight to get my money back I won't be leaving negative feedback. What's the point if he's honest about it? Even honest guys screw up. No need for everyone to tank his feedback.

Have things changed?
I put in a claim about 5 or 6 years ago. I got back about 75% after some kind of Paypal costs.

as long as it was only the sellers fault (IE not you deciding you don't like it and trying to return) you will get all money back. any fees incurred would be the sellers problem to cover

I have sent one today and one Saturday. No response either. eBay won't let me seek a refund through "buyer protection" until the 22nd.

I have yet to hear anything. Never had a problem with Ebay. Looks like this might be the first.

Well I haven't heard anything back yet, however I have done some digging and believe I have found out some more information about him. Full address, DOB, and he has a record in Florida with a known address. Also a phone number but not sure if that is valid.

I hate scammers.

Interesting, somebody from the first batch of ratchets sold on Jan 30th just put up a positive feedback post on ebay.

Well that could be a good thing. I'm not pursuing anything at this time. I am just going to play the waiting game and lets all home it works out for the best.

I would not be concerned, as eBay will protect you. I got my refund, but with zero communication. Some of you may actually get the ratchet, so keep waiting.

want to post his name address and phone? I'll call and ask when I can expect to see my ratchet?

I got suckered into this deal also. Sent three messages to the seller....no communication. I contacted E-bay by phone and they filed a claim on my behalf. Still have to wait for the little c*#@^*#@er to respond to the claim before I get any funds returned. I've got a feeling he's not going to have very much to talk about...

Yes....please post up this a-holes info.

I guess the claim got "a-holes" attention. Money was refunded today. No communication with an explanation. I sure hope that you other guys either get your ratchet or your money back.

Does anybody have any shipping info yet?

No real shipping info, other than mine was purchased on the 31st and he marked it as shipped in eBay on Feb. 4th.

I don't think it takes 10 days to ship to/from and 2 places in the US.

I didn't think so either, but I watched a Matco pick set I bought make its way from Texas to PA and it took from Jan 18th to Feb 4th. USPS Parcel Post was how it was shipped. 17 days, and showed up with a busted hard plastic case somehow. Parcel Post now terrifies me, esp when a $5 flat rate box can't be more than a buck or $2 more.

A quick search of his username will reveal his extensive internet presence and ultimately his real name. A quick search of his real name, coupled with the location he uses on eBay, will lead to... well, a fun surprise.
