USF holland just called and said they have my hose reel and are delivering it on a semi? How big is this thing ? will see tomorrow

Length x Width x Height = 24" x 10.5" x 25.4"

Don't know about the weight, but it's a big boy. Probably need to mount it on a meaty 2x4 fastened to a concrete wall or to a roof truss for ceiling mount.

Looks like IR started shipping already. I got my tracking numbers now.

Any more pics from those who already got their loot.

Well ****, I would've ordered the other gun while it was still in stock when I placed my order last Tuesday. Still no tracking though.

"Unfortunately, there was a discrepancy in available stock for Spray Gun - Automotive - HVLP - Model# PF260 at the time your order was placed, and the item is out of stock. A refund in the amount of $49.28 (price of item + tax) has been issued to the original form of payment. Please allow 2-3 business days for the credit to post to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Can the flush mounted gauge be replaced with a wider faced pressure gauge?

Maybe this part number is for the no gauge option that you can use to plug in a back mount gauge of your choice? Will the plug in the top port work on the front and mount gauge on top port?

Here is the gauge off the base the back side is same sorry

Is that a 1/8" NPT plug in that center hole?

It looks like the gauge has a flange. Does it seal in that area with a gasket vs a male threaded stub?

How about the no gauge options? Does it mean a gauge can be mounted and if yes will it take 1/8" or 1/4" NPT.

ARO Filter-Regulator "Piggyback" PGYBK,2000SRS,NPT P39334-114

3 – 2000 Series
3 – 3/8” NPT
4 – 5 micron

1 – 0 - 140 (No gauge)
1 – Relieving / Metal w/sight glass
4 – Standard Knob / Automatic

After studying the IR key to deciphering the part number for about an hour, I think they use a 1/8 NPT fitting.

What also helped was putting the part number into the Grainger site.

OK so I got my first round in.

I was hoping one could interchange the filters and drain bowls. You cannot.

What you order you are stuck with.

I figured out the manual drain, but not the auto drain. Not quite sure how it works.

yea there is I didn't take it apart, but it has hex screws you can loosen up and comes apart in 3 pieces. 3/8 nip

Just to be clear ... can the Lubricator be taken off the F-R-L setup leaving only the F-R for use?

How about changing the setup to R-F?

tks

I am surprised that not one of my units came with any sort of useful manual explaining the functions. There was a microprinted, 10 language thing that basically said "bleed air pressure before servicing". Duh? They must expect we all know what we are doing. Will have to go to the ARO catalogue and try to get more info. Like my lubricator.

I'm hoping so. I ordered two of them. Check out this video on youtube, it shows the units split up, however no idea if they attached separate units or just split up the F-R-L.

I bought the F/R-L combo, and it arrives today.

I plan on removing the Lubricator, and just using the F/R. I'm 99.999% certain they are just regular NPT fittings between them. When they are used as a unit, there is an o-ring between each component, and then that connector fits between them. I'll let you know 100% once mine get here and I disassemble them.

Also, when you look in the IR catalog, it even lists the individual component numbers that make up the combo unit. The combos are just individual components strung together.

OK. I lied. This is working out like I expected after playing around with it some more.

I wanted a 3/8" manual drain w/ metal bowl & sight glass and 5 micron filter w/ built in gauge (334-610). None exist on sale. Either they have a .3 micron and sight glass or 5 micron and no sight glass no gauge.

The units are split, the first 3 #'s are the top unit, bottom 3 #'s are the bottom unit.

I purchased:
333 (.3 micron) -610 (metal bowl sight glass manual drain)
334 (5 micron) -624 (metal bowl no sight glass auto drain)

I swapped the -610 to the 334 and now I have a 334-610 which did not exist on the IR site.

I also now have a 333-624 which will be perfect for painting.

Still no idea how the auto drain works. There is no additional plumbing involved. Maybe when the water hits a certain level it's automatically blown off? That would be pretty neat.

It looks to me like the units are slid in place and have sealing rings between the pieces.

I gotta give IR some props. In my haste to "get one before they're gone," I ordered a BSP unit. Sent them an email with a request to change out to a less expesnive NPT unit. Not only did I get an email confirming the swap, but they also credited me the difference.

I just need one more for spray painting to wrap my purchases and I'll spring for this ...

I hope the carbide burrs are good too as I decided to get a few more sets. These are cheaper than the generic Chinese made ones.

The burs Are Chinese, But They Appear To Be Good Quality. I Haven'tUsed Mine Yet, ButAsYou Mentioned The Price Can't Be Beat.

remember, The Chinese Build To The Specs That The Manufacturer Specifies

You can remove the oiler (lubricator).

You remove the two hex screws and slide the bracket off, then remove the o-ring. Then install whatever connectors you want into the standard NPT connectors. Here is a quick picture that I installed a couple 1/4 connectors. I bought the unit with 1/4 NPT.

You can also reinstall the bracket, even onto a single component, so you can wall mount it. I would have thought you would have had to sandwich that bracket between two components. But it works with only one component.

One thing I can say (at least with the 1500 series) is that the face gauge is SMALL. I have to use my reading glasses to read the numbers on it. The gauge face, numbers, and dial hand are TINY. If you are older than 29, forget about being able to read that thing. The gauge is about the size of a penny.

It's a tiny hole less then the size of the head of a Bic pen. No threads...

Have you figured out how the auto drain works yet?

I bought one 1/2" Piggyback and 2 3/4" Piggybacks.

They are all -624 series

There is a little float in the bottom that looks like it floats up and opens the valve. But I blew on the intake a little and the it blows straight out then bottom. Maybe I didn't pressurize it enough to seal?

Hell of a deal though. These 1/2" and 3/4 inch regulators are monsters. I am in the running for baddest garage on my Block now!
