Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Glued together two sheets of 1/4" plywood for a display case.

I'm not looking forward to doing mine. How did you keep all the screw straight and in the narrow 1.5" wood rafter? Any tips? My trusses are 44 ft and they just have a natural wave to them. When I did the walls we ran a rotating laser which was really nice for shooting in the screws nice and straight.
Thanks
Put in some soffit vents and a ridge vent up top.![]()
No soffits on mine, so Ridge vents won't work. I am going to do gable vents. Not ideal, but should help.

Off topic, but I used this on my shed that had the same problem prior to insulation:

My trusses are 40 feet, the trusses were extra wavy (nearly 3 inches) as the wind nearly blew the shop down before the builder sheeted the roof. This job was a pain in the ***, I started by drilling a half dozen sheets and found out that it wasn't going to work, then I measured for each sheet, drilled individually and hung them. Amazing enough, you can only see the waviness (sp) if you are at ceiling height, not from the floor. The hardest part was installing the 23 foot long sheets by myself, 16 feet off of the floor. The manlift that I picked up has paid for itself many times on this project!

Walked in, looked around, shook my head, walked out.....
I'd like to see your progress on that.

Is that copper line you are using for your brake lines?

I do that a lot but I usually drink a beer between "looked around, shook my head" then I walk out.Strictly speaking, as its such a glorious day today, it was “outside my garage”! I fitted some camber and toe wedges to back of my kit car. It is a Robin Hood 2B+ and the running gear come from a Ford Sierra. In the USA I think it is known as the Merkur!
Here is my 2B

These are the shims which are tapered in 2 direction to “fix” the camber and toe.

Nice looking car! BUT, please tell me that us an optical illusion on the paint by the shim on the fender.
No!That's a rough spot in the gel coat! I have just got a polisher which will be used once the gel coat has been sanded smoother!
Coper lines? Are they strong enough?
Never had an issue with copper as a brake line! Most UK kit cars are built with them as are most classic cars restorations!

Love it to bits! Best £6k I have ever spent!
Well, I was going to pull the heater core out of the Grand Am, but my wife had a broken sliding glass (mirror) door fall on her and slice her arm open, so instead it was off to urgent care to get that wound stitched together.
How does that install? Do you need to change your shingles?

It is! Easy to bend with a proper tool.
