Hows blue point branded tools compare to Snap On's branded ones?

I have a lot of bluepoint stuff aside from this set. Sockets, wrenches, and ratchets are of good quality. Snap on is much better with screw drivers and pliers.

Strange thing about this set is the pliers are china made. Just about all my other bluepoint stuff is Taiwan.

I won the toolguyd contest for a gearwrench ratchet so I picked the 3/8" drive full polish. It came with a had written note from gearwrench which is very nice. The ratchet is longer then I expected and thinner head profile then I had expected. It feels very nice in my hand I love it so far.

Had a 20% off coupon, plus an additional discount I wasn't expecting. Got it for $38 after tax.

Picked up DW745 table saw. Home Depot had them on clearence for $229.95 but they were sold out only the display was left. They checked and all the parts were there so I got 5% off the $229.95 then another 5% off for the Lowes match for putting it on my Home Depot card. So out the door for $220.45 tax and all.

You gotta love a deal on a display model! Got my DeWalt Right Angle 18v drill for $75 at Lowe's 2-3 years ago.

I have that same table saw and have noticed that the screw tab that hold the yellow blade cutout will break right off and will create a 1/8 ridge that matterial hits when you feed in. Take out the one lock screw from it that turns and holds the blade cutout on and replace it with a heavier grade screw or you will be doing like I did and drilling and taping the old one out for a new one. It probably wont be you that breaks it either. I had a helper of mine break mine thinking he was gonna change the blade on my saw "because it wasn't cutting well" he had my fence cockeyed as hell and was binding the material as it feed in. Blade was brand new and saw was only 3 months old and this ******* broke it. I love the saw though and use it daily in my field. My old delta weights something like 70 pounds and the fence is not true at all, once I switched to my Dewalt I have been a much happier worker. Dare I saw I even still look forward to ripping wood with it.

Thanks for the info I will look into upgrading that. I used it for the first time yesterday ripping some 1x4 to make a couple little trim pieces for a cabinet I'm redoing in one of my rentals. It was like butter to use really digging it so far.

Been doing more wiring around the house and for some reason can't find ANY of my strippers. So I was at HD today and picked these up.

Got this combo kit to go with my cordless ratchet which should be arriving soon. Home Depot has these kits cheap. Making room for the fuel stuff I guess. The bag it comes with is nice and very big. Any suggestions for a bit set for the driver? Looking for a big set, something with torx bits.

We added and new machine at work that uses metric fasteners so I needed some metric wrenches. Picked up a the Wright Tools set 952# off of Amazon. Came with a great denim tool roll, going to take it home for my truck wrenches.

What ever you choose avoid the Milwaukee shockwave bits, they are like butter.

I was making some wheel cribs, using a Robertson #2 bits and every 4th or 5th screw was being stripped. I switched to another USA R2 bit and was good to go.

Mayhew punches from Amazon and NOS KD USA 29mm wrench from Cripes. The punches have been in my wish list for awhile. Been watching the price fluctuate on the punches. Dropped to $15.95 for the 4pc set so I jumped on it.
