Someone from HJE left me a message on my phone today and emailed me to let me know that my order might take to while to ship out. This is because Wright was a bit slow at shipping. NEVER EVER had a company call me to let me know that.

I will definitely be buying from HJE again.

Here is my haul!
Ordered a pair of Channellock 449, Peer Supreme Tweezers, Wright Grip 7/16 wrench, 2 HJE shirts (one for a coworker)
Bonus items: Wright t-shirt, sticker, screwdriver; Channellock t-shirt and screwdriver, sharpening stone, brass tag with my name on it :D

UPS man showed up after dinner.

Got a DSLR (gift from the wife) and I'm going to Destin in a couple of weeks so the art was spot on!

They were out of one of the thread files. I think I got the CL linesman as a consolation / upgrade.

Got the free puck, Wright screwdriver, and CL/Wright stickers. And the cool print. And my now favorite t-shirt: Armstrong/HJE shirt!!

Need to slowly add some more combo wrenches and the 1/2 Armstrong is a nice upgrade from my CMRP.

I'm feeling a bit sad b/c I didn't get a cool brass tag:(

HJE Day is always a fun way for all of us to celebrate our nation's birthday and to support some great companies.

WOW!! To my surprise I came home from a long day and a package was in my mail box. I didn't get a shipping notice so I was very pleasantly surprised!:beer:

My modest order of Channellock 436's(love the damn pouches!!!!), Wright 3430 ratchet (which I sticks a lot, but a very cool ratchet!), and 2 Elkind Hex Balldrivers...plus goodies that include a very cool tag, Channellock and Wright tshirts, Channellock E326's which are very cool a Channellock sticker and the sharpening puck!!

Another AWESOME Epstein Day in the books. Thanks to Jori and the HJE team for doing this. I know after last year I made many Channellock purchases from HJE throughout the year, hopefully many other will do the same this year!

I like the looks of these Channellocks with the thick grips! I've got that one two of my Knipexes (needle nose, linesman) and I love it! Then again, I've got big hands.

Yeah I am very happy that I got a free pair but man held them in my hand about 10 seconds and now I might have to replace all my old plain blue handle ones.

It's here! It's here!

OK, it was a small order, but the bonuses were perfect:

Ordered the Channellock and Wilde slip-joints. Sounds like I ought to have gone for the flush-joint Wildes. Anyway, the sharpening stone, CL bell, and tag are great. I LOVE the stickers and the Wilde hat!

I've been thinking about other stuff I should have ordered, and might have to place another order in the near future!

What size drive is that Armstrong ratchet? Is the Wright (assuming its the 3490) comparable in quality?

The Armstrong ratchet is 1/4 drive. The Wright ratchet is the 3430 which is as you probably know the 3/8 drive in the 1/4 handle. The head on the Wright ratchet has a little more play in it, in my opinion the Armstrong ratchet is superior, although I do not own any other of the above listed ratchets to conduct a further comparison. Hope this helps. Mike

Undoubtedly there are going to be some orders where we forget to include one thing or another. If that's the case, just let us know.

Also, you might really check around in that box to see if it didn't slip in a crack or something. Sometimes they are good at hiding.

thanks

Good to know. I was on the fence about both ratchets and decided to wait on them because I had already spent my budget this month. I already had a few other items that I planned to buy later, so I will add an Armstrong flex head to that list!

If those Armstrong ratcheting wrenches are available in bigger sizes I'm gonna need pricing on a couple of singles.

Got my order today...picked up some giblets I've been meaning to purchase for a while now. But I think the brass tag is my favorite.

You are going to love that 6" square. I got one a while back and don't know how I got along without it.

It works as a marking gauge, depth gauge, whatever. I keep it in my pocket all the time I'm in the shop.

Got mine today. I am thrilled at the quality of the Armstrong locking flex head ratchets. I got both the 1/2" and 3/8", now I need to find something to tear apart tomorrow to use them! The Armstrong shirt is top shelf quality MADE IN USA! Nice and thick. The brass tag is cool too! Wish I had known what the "box art" was all about, I could have come up with a real good one - there is always next year.
Thanx HJE for quality tools, decent prices and quick delivery. I'll be back!

Epteins Day artwork 2014.jpg

Here's what the accompanying text states:

"* Psychic Caption: A game where a person draws a picture, then another person writes the caption without seeing the drawing. Psychic powers are used.

P.S. - sometimes it doesn't work"

Awesome!

I guess I missed the memo about how we all had to order Channellock needle nose and a Wilde slip joint!

I got a confirmation email for my order. That's it. No mailing notice. No charge to my card. While I didn't expect to be one of the first to actually get my order, the current status is a bit worrisome. (In a "First World Problem" sort of way...)

Jori was right. I didn't see it during or after cutting off the art (lid of the box) and opening up the ends. I even checked the shirt. It must have been down in the bottom fold/flap of the box. I found it at the bottom of the recycle bin.

Yeah i got a tag!!

Thanks Jori and crew.

#27400 and long time HJE supporter with no idea how many tool box drawers Jori has filled for me. Couldn't be happier to support this business.

Thanks!
