Hmmm,

Haven't gotten mine yet, but after seeing all the stuff you guys have been getting I'm putting together a list of stuff to put on my next order. I bought the inverted Wilde scraper in the first, and I think I'll add the other two as well as one of those cool old stock drop-light reels.

Stand by HJE, I'll send in the order in the next few days.

does that gray box come with stuff in it?

I know they sell them loaded (drill bits). Would be handy if you went through a lot of them.

The gray box on the right comes with 96 Norseman high speed steel bits (they also sell one that is Molybdenum). I am tired of those cheep gold coated made in china bits that I have, and wanted something that will last but not break the bank. The bits are all in little packages inside the box, so I'll take them out and get a few pictures for you later today.

I think you'll be very happy with those bits, I have the 29 piece HSS (1/16-1/2) set (only one each size) in the Huot index. Very nice bits!

Got my Epstein's day haul! Love the box art! In celebration of Independence Day, I asked for a Bald Eagle shooting off fireworks it's holding in either it's talons or beak.

Thank you Epstein's for all the extras. Got an awesome Crescent t-shirt, Cooper beer coozie, Wilde sticker, sharpening puck, artwork, and metal tag.

I was one of the last orders before midnight and I haven't received notification that my order has shipped... I wonder if I can add a few things :dunno: I could spend a fortune!!! Which Armstrong flex head should I start out with? The only flex head I've had were non-locking... and I hated that they didn't lock, so maybe these will fix my issues.

Whatever size you use the most. For me it's 3/8 and the locking flex was a fantastic addition! Looks like a lot of people like the 1/4 for small jobs.

Just got mine yesterday.

I'm completly satisfied with HJE yet again. Great tools. Great price. Great customer service.

Jori also saw fit to include me in the GJ goodies even though I ordered after midnight. Thanks a million Jori!

As usual, they did an awesome job on the box art. I'll post a pic up later.

Now I've just got to weed through the last 3 years of HJE July 4th threads and figure out what to order next!

Glad it looks like everything went well for you guys. I was not able to participate this year due to someone stealing my bank information and going nuts with it. Fortunately that's now sorted out and I plan to make a purchase soon.

You guys are making me wish I would've got the Armstrong flex ratchets now. Guess I'll add it to the list for the next round!

The Arm flex rats are just fantastic! I couldn't wait for ED and ordered from them 2 weeks before.

those armstrong ratchets are a beauty, do they lock? I remember I loved my dads old 3/8 flex ratchet because it was so long. My dad hated it because it was always flopping around.

Outstanding service superb tools a few awesome freebies overall an amazing job by the HJE crew. I'm a little bummed that I didn't get any stickers for my tool boxes, but I can get a couple of stickers on my own.

THAT looks like a great set, and now I'm jonesing for the same. The flush rivet Wilde pliers look awesome, and I've already got my eye on the Armstrong Flex-ratchets.

Well, my order was waiting by the La-Z-Boy when I got home Friday, having been collected off the doorstep by my son.

The first pic is of some additional clamps for the shop.

The second pic is the rest of the tools I purchased.

  1. SK 8 pc Metric Impact Socket Set
  2. 6 mm Wright Wrench
  3. Channellock Welding Pliers
  4. Knipex Combination Pliers
  5. Scrapers
  6. Pratt & Reed P1 and P2 screwdrivers
  7. Armstrong Aerospace 1/4" and 3/8" Ratches

The final pic is the swag.

Jori, I've tried to locate this user but cannot find him. Do you know who this belongs to? If so, PM me the address and I will get it to them.

Jori - just wanted to thank you and the rest of the HJE folks. I've been contacted by Steve several times updating me on the status of my order including twice today concerning an issue that most other suppliers would not have gone the extra steps to make sure to correct instead of just canceling the order. (especially with the issue being on my end!).

Just got my ship notification and am anxiously waiting for delivery!!! :rocker:

Axe sheath - 11.00
Razor scraper - 1.30
Norseman 13 pc drill bit set - 11.90

All very nice and made in the USA!

So... Is the box art something that HJE does all the time or is it just for Epstein's Day? I've already got a theme in mind for my next order [emoji106]
