Menards has 6oz and 8oz stacking containers free after rebate, limit 12 per size.

They're definitely nice containers for free. They are selling quickly and out of stock often, but it seems the stores get several thousand at a time and the deal runs into September, so you should be able to take advantage.

Lids twist off nicely, and both sizes stack with each other and interlock.

Anyone know if these are worth a tiddle? I'm busy harvesting, but would send the little lady after some if they were worth it.

I've got enough free junk, but I can always use decent containers.

That's what caught my eye for sure. I've got 12v Max Dewalt drill and impact driver combo and it's been great. But for $20 it could come in handy to have.

The free HDMI cables, free water bottles are also good too

I've never had much luck with knee pads. (free set in ad) They usually just move around too much to be useful.

Pretty impressed with the PC impact driver. Bigger and slightly heavier than I expected, but it hits with 120 ft/lbs.

Definitely cannot go wrong for $20 for anyone on the fence.

These are nice and the stack, I picked up 12, but I would not make a special trip. Menards has Crazy Day Sale going on until Sunday with a lot of great free items, too many to list. Check out the ad online and I sure you will want to send some one.

That impact driver would have been good. My store didn't have many and ran out before I could get there. They said they likely would not get any more of those. So that one really was a traditional doorbuster. A few lucky got those.

I got some of those plastic containers and free after rebate nitrile gloves and the kneepads too. Containers are good but yeah, probably should not put in dishwasher. Nuts and bolts would be good in these or similar. - Paul

I was able to get 2 corded impacts ($20 after MIR). I will keep one and give one as a gift.

I was also able to ORDER 24 cans of Great Stuff Pest Control and still get the rebate. They are $0.97 after MIR.

This week's ad has Flexzilla 25" air hoses on sale for $15.

I think that's the lowest I've ever seen the 25 footers.

Nothing else is really catching my eye. There's some random Chinese tools for a buck or three and some mediocre power tools for a few bucks off.

Im setting on a $20 rebate check and nothing to buy with it. I have a compressor and more than a few air tools - but I dont use them all that often.

Still seems like I NEEEED this hose. :bounce:

I've got the longer version of this hose, I think 50'. And it's been great. No problems with it at all. Huge upgrade from the thin yellow coiled hose most compressor kits might come with.

I noticed Menards.com now shows the exact stock numbers of an item. That will certainly come in handy now instead of having to have them look it up on their computer in store.

Oh, my god. They're moving into the 21st century! Next thing you know, there'll be customer reviews and free in-store pickup!

(yes, Menard's charges for in-store pickup of online orders...wtf, right?)

Hey man, it's effing hard to try and find one of those guys to pull that item.

I can only imagine after no one answers their page, they must then dispatch one of the girls at the front desk, that do what ever they do, to try and locate an appropriate associate.

That associate must then locate their shift lead to narrow down the location of said item. Once located, they must then negotiate their way to the front desk with no customer interaction, whatsoever. If a customer detects them and hunts them down, the process starts all over.

At least that's how my local store seems to operate.

Seems pretty much how the stores around here go, too.

I'd probably hate Menard's if I needed their help. I've heard the employees try to answer customer questions before; you come away feeling like they don't know a hammer from a fireplace.

Luckily, I know where everything is and don't need hardware store workers to tell me how to fix things, so I still get to love Menard's.

I do want free in-store pickup, though. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and just want to be in and out in three minutes.

But then when you have no questions and are sitting there trying to make sure your game plan is kosher, they won't leave you alone. It's like they think you're gonna steal something, but if they kill you with kindness they could possibly deter you and save a kitten in one fell swoop.

I'm surprised no one has been posting in here. There were some pretty great deals last week, but here are a list of ones that I think are good this week too.

$9.99 Plastic Folding Sawhorse - http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...upport/folding-sawhorse/p-1462253-c-10164.htm (picked up two, working great for me)

$99 RockSolid Polycuramine floor coating - http://www.menards.com/main/p-2272039.htm (considering going this route for my garage)

All SPAX screws on sale (I picked up Power Lags for building my garage shelving)

$29.99 Hitachi 4-1/2" Angle Grinder - http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...achi-4-1-2-angle-grinder/p-1724783-c-9075.htm (tempted, but my cheapo HF grinder has been working fine)

$9.99 11 Piece Flap Disc and Polish Set - http://www.menards.com/main/p-2369033-c-14240.htm (Chinese, but I'm giving them a shot)

$147 Bosch RA1181 Router Table - http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...h-benchtop-router-table/p-2184900-c-10164.htm (considering picking this up and getting into woodworking)

I agree..... That's why I visit Menards 2 to 3 times a week. But since the stores are not nationwide like the others I no not want the other GJers to be jealous. Lol

I was there today. A bunch of their hand tools are 50% off. Most I thought were a little high to start with.

Masterforce 5pc Pliers Set - $9.99

I thought Masterforce hand tools were made in USA, but I see no mention of it on the website or on the packaging. They are still nicer than the orange HF 5 pc set for the same price.

I believe when I looked at those in the store they were COO China. It seems the wrenches and screwdrivers are usually USA. Some of their stuff is Taiwan as well.
