with some groceries, clothes, furniture and other stuff thrown in. It is essentially a General Store. Those of us from Northwest Ohio will note that The Anderson's is about the closest thing comparable. Menard's is pretty awesome and one of my Favorite Stores along with Meijer. My wife even loves Menards.

This is THE WORST TIME EVER for me to be out of the country. Most of the sets in my two stores seem to be gone online. Mostly just stray ratcheting wrenches for GW left over. I need so much of this stuff lol. Either resale or stock my employees in the shop...

Some of these will be nice gifts. The 20pc socket set for $7.80 is a great deal although I don't care for ratchet that much, but its 20 pieces packed tightly into a small case.

I was able to pick up some spare sets :

1x 81903 : 20pc Stubby , SAE /Metric
1x 81904: 10pc Stubyy Metric
1x 81905: 10pc Stubby, SAE
1x 81913: 9pc SAE XL- X-Beam

They are dusty, and the plastic wrapping is torn, but all the pieces are in there.

Let me know if anyone wants them, Price + shipping

The Livonia, MI store was pretty much picked over at 9pm last night (esp after another random customer and I got to it). The stubby ratchet wrenches were all but gone - had 2 sets of the gearwrench 20pc no ratchet stubbies left, and a few screwdriver sets.

I hit this store this morning and grabbed a few non ratcheting sets and some loose ratcheting singles to fill holes in the set I got from Sears.

Be nice to find a few larger sizes to have.

Need to find a 15, to complete the set.

Tried to get some 20 piece stubby sets for some of the less fortunate, but I didn't even see a tag for them, let alone a set.

Hey OP, thanks for bringing this one to our attention. Now reminder, all you guys start posting in the Menard's Permathread too! There are lots of deals all the time that we should post over there. This one is special though and rare. I managed to sneak over there today and got a couple things. Nothing was labelled at the clearance prices. A few things weren't labelled on sale at all ! I got a couple GW ratcheting to fill in for a smaller set I have. Great stuff ! - Paul

I've gotta find a reason to get over to one of my stores this weekend. Special hidden cash fund will come in handy for this. I have been wanting to upgrade my screwdrivers for a while and need some bigger wrenches in SaE.

I wonder if they are axing the masterforce brand? Lots of masterforce power tools on clearance per the website as well

I'll have to check stocks as well. Just redid my whole kitchen and bought the cabinets at Menards so I have a big 11% off rebate check coming.

I have a spare 20 pc. SAE/Metric non ratcheting stubby set I picked up today. They are Gearwrench China. Plastic overwrap is trashed. It will be cheaper to ship without the plastic tray. Actual cost plus tax, plus shipping, plus 3 percent Paypal.

It's surely a steal at that price. I opened up mine that I got today and it's really nice. I'll find many uses for it.

Does anyone have an extra metric crowfoot set? I grabbed a SAE but they are out of metric.
