Dabirdguy aka Glen was my Secret Santa this year. Glen was awesome enough to give me some fine red HH Snap On screwdrivers. Thank you brother, I will definitely put theses to good use tomorrow on my Subie. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Big thanks to Blacknwhitepit, for all your work on this year's SS. And Ryan of course for having a great website we can all call home.
Merry Christmas to my fellow brothers and sisters of the GJ.

I want to give Jerry aka JerryW a huge thank you for the gift! Jerry, the brace and bits are a more perfect gift than you could know. Not to bore you with the whole story details but I lost in a move a set that had been given to me by a very special person in my life. I have been wanting to find another but for some reason or another I never have bought another. Thank you for these wonderful gifts.

I may be overstating this but this event amazes me as I would have never thought to ask for this or previous GJ gifts but they have all been amazing. I guess the magic of the season, the GJ and most of all the spirit of you guys & gals. That's right a little sappy but admit it... This is pretty cool! :)

I would like to publicly thank Michael for his generosity!!!! He sent me a wonderful biography on Carol Shelby but more than that, he sent a very generous check to support a charity that I care deeply about. I'm going to match his donation and send it all off tomorrow.

Michael, if you ever find your self in the San Diego area, I'd be honored to buy you a drink.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.

Ray
I will keep that filed. Thank you for the offer. I do travel a bit to race tracks. If you ever are in NYC I am a good guide. Did you figure out where PW is, I can see the skyline of the city from my back yard.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Duker, you are more than welcome.

Opened mine and really appreciate the pieces from Chris in BC Canada, a gold plated 1/4 drive ratchet, a ratcheting bit driver, an auto dealer pen and a Chevy parts sign. Camera is on the blink so no pics.

Michael,

Yep, figured it out. With Google and a zip code you can find most anything (scary ain't it!) We're only an hour from California Speedway and 5 or so hours from Phoenix so if you get to those tracks, let me know. My in-laws live just outside of Phoenix and we visit them pretty often.

Thanks out to Richard Cranium, my Secret Santa. It was a great combination of items. I sure can use those Cornwell rethreader taps, i never got around to buying a set, but they were on my list. I received items i needed, wanted, admire and one i never even seen before and had to look up, the Blue Point valve tool. I always just chased the spring clips around the shop when they got away from me, now i won't have to. 4 days ago i received a set of hex drive sockets, and now i have a ratchet to go with them. Ironic to say the least. Those 1/4 drive Thoresen ratchets are sweet and will get put to use. My 1st Thoresen ratchets and Cornwell tools. All in all a very thoughtful gift. Thank you

I'm beyond exstatic about my S.S gift. I can't count how many times I've has that snap on screw driver in the shopping cart but didn't pull the trigger. The socket set will come in handy for the house tool bag

My Secret Santa was DanCo.
Thank you santa for the cool gifts. You hit the nail in the as I'm going to use my 4 day weekend to do a tune up on the bug and thanks to you, I got the spark plugs covered!
My Secret Santa sent me the following, a penzoil hat, a flashlight, a 120xp gearwrench ratchet! Holy cow, it's a fine ratchet. It feels great and the 3 degree sweep is awesome. Santa also added an LED flashlight, a blue point spark plug tool that is really, really nice. There's also a distributor cap for the 60 and a badass tin sign that it's a parody of a wring label. It says, "No Stupid People allowed"

Thank you Secret Santa, DanCo, have a Merry Christmas.

Got some cool items from Patrick in NC, didn't have his screen name. Some welding vise grips, gloves, ryobi battery checker,a craftsman tool bag, roll of Velcro that is self backing, already cut some off to wrap cables, and a JEGS work mat. Thanks, I'll be using them all!

A big Thank You to John AKA "Emeraldcoupe" for the great Gearwrench toolkit. I will be clearing out the old rusty stuff from my ATV and replacing it with this set as per your suggestion.

I really could not wait to use it, and we had a screw fall out of a chair right before Christmas lunch so I was able to make my first repair.

Thanks again and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Cheers

Thank you to my mystery secret Santa. I really like everything and will put everything to some honest good use. I really like the Williams stubby set and the snappy ratchet.

Thank you. The penguin is kool, my son wants to steal it from me. He wants to take it to Show & Tell at school. The pry bar is interesting.
My wife said don't you have enough snap on tools. My response was I do not have that color and you never have enough tools.

Thanks Again
Merry Christmas

My Secret Santa gift was the first thing opened up this morning. Thank you to Ray-CA! I'll be putting together a small tool set to keep in the new house and store in the tool bag.

My secret Santa was notch1988 and he exceeded my expectations ten fold! He was kind enough to include some awesome hotwheels in my secret Santa for my son. I have to say I was blown away by his generosity and am very thankful for his gifts.
Some Canadian candy (smarties are called rockets there) and smarties are something I've never tried before. The big highlight for me was the 5 piece proto welding plier set! (These will be very useful because I've wanted to hone my welding skills for some time) he also grabbed some Subaru garb from a local Canadian Subaru dealer which is awesome! A license plate frame and hardware, an Sti lanyard for my keys which is great because mine recently broke, a Subaru window decal, 2 poster wall calendars, and 22 hot wheels for my son!

Wrong type of racing! Think Laguna Seca or Sears Point places that a Cobra would have run.

Opened my Secret Santa gift, it's a nice polished stainless tankard style
coffee mug from Derek in Elysian MO. I don't know his user name.
I like it a lot, it's already had several cups of joe run through it and
it works great. :rocker:
See the self portrait below.

The lady finally let me open mine. I don't think she liked I was more excited to open my GJ gift more than most. I got a really cool vintage sprint car photo. This will look really nice in my home office. Sprint car racing and dirt car racing are about my favorite things. My SS must have spent some time perusing my posts. I took photos and will attach them when I get to my desktop. Thanks Steve from Washington. I really like it.

BIG thanks to Aaron (LoneStarBlaze) for all the car cleaning goodies I received! I'm excited for Spring/Summer so that I can try out these products along with the firehose nozzle. Somehow, he also knew that I liked stickers/decals and included a few too! :pimpflash I'm really digging the Chevy pins too....Thanks Aaron!!

Like others I think mentioned, I think I was more excited about opening up my GJ SS gift than gifts from my family and as always GJ SS did not disappoint. Can't wait till next years! Merry Christmas to all! Looks like everyone is making out good this year!

I got a nice gift from a Ray M. of Auxvasse, MO. A sweet Benchmade sharpening device and some Snap On orange goodness, including mini picks and a straight screwdriver. Plus two 3/8 extensions (one is a wobble) and a 1/4 extension, all Snap On. I especially needed the 1/4, perfect.

Love it all, Ray, especially the sharpening tool. Thanks, and Merry Christmas.

Chevy pins are from the 2012 Texas state fair I figured a good Chevy guy would like them. Hope the shirt fits it the only size our rep had.

<<<<<<<<<< Happy Guy!!!

Okay! No pics (yet) but I got my very first new Snap-On tool! It's a ratcheting screwdriver. I've been looking at ratcheting screwdrivers but have not pulled the trigger. Now I don't have to. Love, love, love it!!!!! Also got a Coors Light bottle opener! Not that I drink ;) !!

My SS included a note but I had walked away from the table for a bit and my OCD SO cleared everything off the table - GRRRR. I know he was from Maryland and a big THANK YOU goes out to him!! Perfect gifts for me!!!

My secret santa was Duct Tape Man. Troy did an outstanding job. I am very happy with my stuff.

I have a bit of a pliers problem, and Troy contributed three very nice Channellock pieces to that problem, none of which I had yet. also got a speed square, Snappy coozie, orange utility knife (did I mention I like orange?) and a sweet pry bar.

He also included an awesome banner to hang in my shop, so I already went by and did that. It looks great.

thank you Troy. have a Merry Christmas!

I got a box with some iconic american tools in it. I used some of them right after I opened the box on my kid's toys, and the bottle opener has been put to good use already as well.

Thanks JeffMoss!

I don't know where Ray M. Of MO came from, but those were from me! I'm glad you like them. I noticed you liked SO hard handles, and who doesn't need a knife sharpener.

My SS ( I don't know his GJ handle, only his name) sent me a small modelers vise, all refinished, and the Swiss army knife of Solingen Fishing knives! Lots of tools combined on the different blades. I should have taken a pic of the other side as well, as there is a diamond shaped reflective piece. Very unique knife!

Thanks "Jason"!

I just finished having a great Christmas meal with some family and wanted to share my wonderful treasure that I received this year. My secret Santa did not leave me any names other than being from Jackson Michigan.

Thank you for reading my wishes and getting me some Wera! I will remember your generosity every time I use these in the future. Love the license plate as well! Merry Christmas to all!
