Here's a
Beltsville Shell update.
Bob has sent it and it is now in the mail back to me. Tracking tells me I should receive it Monday. Thanks Bob! Give me a couple of days to outfit it for it's journey across the pond.
Laro13 in the Netherlands is scheduled to be the first mainland European recipient.
So far I haven't heard from anyone else on the continent so if that doesn't change, Jasper, when you're done it looks like you 'll mail it across the channel to
Gingger22pm in the UK and it'll circulate among our UK friends.
Peter would you please send
Laro13 a private message (PM) and give him your mailing address?
For the UK, this is who has asked to be put on the list. This is in the order I received their request.
1.
Gingger22pm
2.
Seagoon
3.
MisteR Tee
4.
MG David
5.
Armour
Craptain- Andrew you mentioned you might want the book sent to your UK residence rather than here in the US. You would be #6 after Alan in Scotland is done with it. Once it works it's way down the list you'll have a better idea of when and where you'll be so keep me posted where you'd like it sent. You'll be #1 once it comes back to the USA if you want to wait.
If there is anyone else on the Continent or in the UK who would like to read it, please let me know now and we'll schedule you in.
I am anxious to hear from our European friends and see what their reaction to the book is.
For those of us in America it's a somewhat familiar theme that I'm not sure has a European counterpart.
If you want a peek into what it was like growing up in America in the late 50's through the '60's from an automotive enthusiasts point of view,
BS really captures the essence of it with a Corvette theme running throughout.
I would think
Beltsville Shell will land in Europe within a couple of weeks time. Get ready gentleman.
