Does anyone know if the unit has a 220 volt 3 prong dryer plug on it, can't tell from the photos. If not. I might as well track down a plug while we are waiting for delivery

From what I seen, they do not include a plug on the end. You will need to wire one.

I am sending PM's to those on the list who haven't sent an email to Aquamoose, requesting a machine. Up to number 92 so far as I can only do 3 at a time, and 2 per minute. No emails sent. Here's the notice:

The group buy for the Chinese Cut50F Plasma Cutter is in progress right now.

Go to this thread to find out the information you need, to request a machine and consumables:

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280018

I don't know the exact details and drop dead dates off the top of my head, but everything is explained in the thread.

You must send an email to the Garage Journal member who is handling the group buy. There is a post in the thread describing the format. Then he will invoice you and you can pay for the machine and consumables.

An email to the member, even if you don't want one, would be nice as well.

If you have already done this, please disregard this note.

Thanks for all the hard work on this deal!!!!
^^^This^^^!

I'm getting pretty excited about this thing. I have been doing some research on this type/size cutter and honestly I've got to say I'm pretty impressed. Not knowing much about these things when I ordered it (I told yall I had a tool buying problem) I've come to the conclusion that this thing is a beast! Especially for the hobbyist. So can't wait to burn something in half! Sorry if I'm cluttering the thread.

I'm dense, so I apologize in advance. I cannot figure how to estimate shipping accurately.

Can someone give me a hand?

84102, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Once that's known I'll PayPal the $.

Sean is figuring that stuff and sending invoices.. Assuming you emailed him per post #1 you will get an emailed invoice from paypal with the total..

Please do NOT send funds without an invoice from me through Paypal!

To keep things on track,...
Please put in the subject line your place in order on the list and your user name. Example would be "124 - Aquamoose".

This method would allow me to quickly keep track of things. If you're not on the list, put down "NEW - (Your user name)" and I'll put you on the list and assign you a number.

Put in your request for the following and quantity in the body of the e-mail. Example would be:

1 unit - Plasma Cut 50F
2 kits - Consumables (each kit includes 10 tips & 10 electrodes) *This example totals 20 tips / 20 consumables*
1 kit - Cups (each kit includes 5 cups) (erred in putting up 10, I apologize)

If paying via Paypal...
John Doe (For calculating shipping costs - MUST be a confirmed Paypal address)
123 Main Street
Anytown, State 12345 USA ONLY
(Residential) <---- List Residential or Business address.

Paypal e-mail is [email protected]

If paying via USPS Money Order...
John Doe (For calculating shipping costs)
123 Main Street
Anytown, State 12345 USA ONLY
(Residential) <---- List Residential or Business address.

If you live in the lower mainland and want to drive to Bellingham in order to avoid brokerage fees, I am offering to have the units shipped to my work address (lower freight to a business) and let members pick up in Bellingham. I would have to limit pickup times to evenings and weekends.

If you are interested in doing this, I can give you my information so that you can get an invoice from Aquamoose.

And for anyone who has emailed him and not gotten an instant response, remember he is doing this on the side and has a regular job. I note his last post was at 4AM.

And he's also on Pacific time, so will not be on an east coast schedule.

Give him a day or two. This stuff takes some time. I'm retired and just laying on my bed and typing, it took me half a day to just send PM's to half the list.

Sorry if it's been addressed, but any idea of the shipping costs to Canada? Unfortunately, making a roadtrip to the US to pick it up just isn't viable for me....

Look at post #1

Aquamoose lists the machine with no consumables at $192.80 delivered to HIS house.

When you put in your request for machine and consumables, and give him your address, he will figure shipping to your door and add it all up and invoice you. Typically about $35 or so. My total in Detroit with 2 consumables and 1 cups was just under $250, delivered to my door.
