"$192.80____Plasma Cut 50F (Includes cutter, shipping, all fees)"

Now there is an almost $40 shipping charge on top of this price that already included shipping? Thought this was supposed to be $200 shipped price range?

Kevin

The "shipping and all fees" is referring to getting into the U.S. I believe

I thought that was "shipping and all fees". The other thread was talking about possible $10 shipping and coming in at or under $200 shipped. Now we are up to $240 shipped. Still a good deal just a 20% increase from original estimates.

Kevin

Thats kind of what i thought too...my invoice showed and thought wtf, lol. With the additional $6 added to the cutter itself ($198.**), shipping charge of almost double what i was expecting...its now $25-$30 over what i assumed it would cost. I know its not much but wasn't expecting it,lol.

Not sure how i feel about the payment being non refundable either...what if this deal falls though, etc?

I've added some explanations to the first post under FAQ's. Basically there's three shipping stages involved.

  1. China to Tacoma, WA - built in the total plasma cutter price
  2. Tacoma, WA to Spokane - built in the total plasma cutter price
  3. Spokane out to you - not included. You are invoiced for the exact UPS cost to get your package to you based on your Zip and whether it's a residential or commercial. By using my commercial UPS account, I can ship it at a discount than if most were to ship individually.

I sent you another email with a commercial address. If you can reinvoice, great. If not I'll just have it sent to the residential.

Both addresses are in Paypal.

It wouldn't let me pay the extra $5 warranty money so I canceled and requested a new invoice be sent with it included.

Thanks,

Kevin

I personally would like to have it all on one payment to be able to keep track of it and to also know that it gets documented correctly on his end. I'm sure he doesn't want numerous payments of various amounts to keep track of. I'm ready to pay as soon as I get the invoice correct.

Kevin

It's actually more work for me. :willy_nil

I've got a system and as soon as anyone realizes that they forgot to add a donation, warranty, consumables, something, I'd just rather have them send cash as a "gift" through Paypal and it gets documented on this end.

Only when they want another plasma cutter (for a buddy, etc) do I make up a second invoice.

I received invoice via email- which also would be accessible directly by logging onto your paypal account (which you need to anyway to actually pay.

I paid no sales tax but as I understand residents of WA will need to.

#283 AnEv942 paid....

I've realized that and regretfully, I must collect IF it is to be invoiced as goods via Payal to a WA address.

Paypal reports the information to the IRS and come tax time next year, they will see that there will be no profit shown. If someone were to send me a USPS money order with a scribbled note on where to ship it to, all he pays are the goods and shipping with no Paypal fees or taxes regardless of where it's shipped to as long as it's in the US.

Quick count:
50 paid
47 invoiced
16 ordered

113 total.....Getting close to the 120 order.

Should send emails and PM's to all the others to remind them.
Maybe someone else could do that with a note penned by the OP

Are you volunteering?

Done, just saved you a few bucks!

Doesn't that ^ say you sent it to [email protected]?

Shouldn't it be sent to [email protected]?

Sure! Just update the list in this thread to show the latest, and write me up a blurb to email and PM. I will both Email (Where possible) and PM all who have not already sent their requests. The blurb should have all your boilerplate and instructions on what to do as well as a link to this thread and something about time being of the essence to get in on the deal. Maybe even a drop dead date.

Yep. Thanks. I was in too much of a hurry, and copied the example of a PP email. Got it straight, and re-sent.

Ha- I did that-hoovering over the send button...noted-thats an odd address-doh...I yelped loudly to myself. Margaret says 'what?. I told her what I almost did and she shakes her head and asks 'should I be concerned when this machine arrives?'

And maybe the moderators have a way to send a PM to a list of people and even to extract email addresses.

I just created a list of those who haven't sent requests, extracted from the master list, which I have in an Excel spreadsheet.

I'm still in the process of invoicing more and the list only contained a partial before I stopped for dinner. When the evening is done, I'll update and make a note. I'll also PM you. Basically, you can just go Paul Revere on them, warning the town folks.

As for the end-date, it's murky. I'm going to be wiring a 40% deposit (as opposed to the 30% minimum) this week before the office closes on Feb 16 (factory closes on the 10th). They said I can still collect orders and they will let me know when they are ready to start packing and provide me with a cut-off date. The deposits (and current count) simply ensures our place in the production line so we can get our cutters sooner. I will be posting the cut-off date on the first post when it becomes known.

Ha- I did that-hoovering over the send button...noted-thats an odd address-doh...I yelped loudly to myself. Margaret says 'what?. I told her what I almost did and she shakes her head and asks 'should I be concerned when this machine arrives?'

Tell her yes.

I spoke up earlier, but never was added to the list.

Give me time folks, I'm still in progress. At the start of this message, I have 68 unread emails. Now, it's 77. Check back late tonight or tomorrow morning. Also, keep an eye out for updates & instructions.

Can't build Rome in a day, not even if we all have plasma cutters...
