It wouldn't let me pay the extra $5 warranty money so I canceled and requested a new invoice be sent with it included.

Thanks,

Kevin

Take me off the list please, I'm #33.

It looks much better organized this time, but I already decided it's not worth the hassle and will pick up a Hypertherm unit.

I personally would like to have it all on one payment to be able to keep track of it and to also know that it gets documented correctly on his end. I'm sure he doesn't want numerous payments of various amounts to keep track of. I'm ready to pay as soon as I get the invoice correct.

How do we add extra money to the invoice? Can I send you a separate payment for the extra? Sorry for the added trouble. But thanks for the effort on this buy. I sure hope these things are dependable.

Sorry others asked as I was typing.

I have the same question that has been asked a few times recently.....how do I send the extra $5 for the "extended warranty"? Do you want it sent as a gift to the same Paypal or what? I already sent the payment for waht you invoiced me for.

Thanks!

I have a GREEN LIGHT.
THANK YOU for taking this on!

For those wanting to contribute $5, the FAQ at the top of the thread explains how to send it by separate PP "gift".

Thats kind of what i thought too...my invoice showed and thought wtf, lol. With the additional $6 added to the cutter itself ($198.**), shipping charge of almost double what i was expecting...its now $25-$30 over what i assumed it would cost. I know its not much but wasn't expecting it,lol.
*I see now that the additional price is the 3.1% paypal fee*

Not sure how i feel about the payment being non refundable either...what if this deal falls though, etc?

"$192.80____Plasma Cut 50F (Includes cutter, shipping, all fees)"

Now there is an almost $40 shipping charge on top of this price that already included shipping? Thought this was supposed to be $200 shipped price range?

Sorry for the delay getting it sent; I got distracted with vehicle maintenance and parent activities over the weekend.

I don't see anywhere it tells us to send a separate PP gift for the $5 only this:

Wouldn't it be smart to add $5 to the total so a few extra machines can be bought and kept on hand for warranty issues?

"I think it's a good idea and you're welcome to contribute BUT it's not required. I can keep a separate list of those who contributes. Those on the list can essentially "extend" their warranty for as long as the spare machines are available beyond the one year anniversary. If $5 were contributed on top for each cutter bought per 120 machines, I can secure an extra 3 machines for such purposes. They will remain unopened & stored away."

Maybe I'm missing it but I would prefer it all on one invoice either way.

I believe that $5 is a "thank you" type thing. The $5 I was inquiring about was for the "extended warranty. See copy and paste below from the FAQ. They are separate items and it never clearly says how to send the "extended warranty" money, at least I don't read it that way.

- Will we be able to see who pitched in for this "extended" warranty?

Yes, there will be a list that's frequently be updated. See the next thread below.

- How can I pitch in a few bucks to help out?

You can contribute but it's completely voluntary. It won't get your plasma cutter there any faster if you're wondering . You can contribute to Aquaticbob for his initial efforts (I will find out his paypal address) and/or to me ([email protected]) I'll put it with my kids funds. You can send them separately after being invoiced since it will be a "gift" and not a "goods" purchase.

Are the invoices coming to you in your emails or showing up in your PayPal accounts? I show up on the list as invoice sent but I have not received anything.

Tax

I think there was some discussion about this, but maybe in the old thread? Will sales tax be charged for this?

I received invoice via email- which also would be accessible directly by logging onto your paypal account (which you need to anyway to actually pay.

I paid no sales tax but as I understand residents of WA will need to.

#283 AnEv942 paid....

Paid invoice (email sent regarding commercial address instead of residential), + $5 for "extended warranty" + a few bucks for the kids funds. Please pass along aquaticbob's PP email when you get it. :)

So to get a gauranteed unit I have to PP you the money for the cutter + the consumables I want (one of each). How do I know how much shipping will be? Do I send that in when You receive the units and know final shipping cost?

Just paid my invoice on two. Pretty excited to get cooking.

He seems to know exact dimesnions/weight and is getting actual quotes. My exact shipping cost was included in my invoice, and its not rounded, its a few odd numbers, so He is using a shipping calc with dims/weight/zip.

Cheers
Nick

Based upon your validated PayPal shipping address, when you receive invoice, shipping cost will be calculated on that and show on invoice.

Quick count:
50 paid
47 invoiced
16 ordered

113 total.....Getting close to the 120 order.

Should send emails and PM's to all the others to remind them.
Maybe someone else could do that with a note penned by the OP
