Just wondering if you have any hammers ready to sell yet. Do you make any other tools? It seems that I saw something in a previous post about punches.

Have you even kept up with how many of those beauties you've sold John? I'm assuming into the several 100's??

Is it possible to reserve/preorder one if they're not ready yet? I'd love to have one.

Throw my hat in the ring for wanting to know if these can still be ordered. Also can someone tell me how much they cost so I don't have to read 22 pages....

Hi guys,

Just an update. I originally planned to make a bunch of hammers for Christmas, but obviously that didn't happen. I've been swamped with other work which pushed those plans back.

I'm going to see about getting ready to make a group of hammers soon.

Check here for updates!

PMech,

I hope you got my email about laser engraving... if not, let me know and I'll resend it. If you're not interested, I understand.

where are your other threads on The Punch and the other items you're now making, like those tables printed on metal? I'd love to show a friend.

thanks John

Any plans to do another run?
I'm pretty interested at this point and could "pre-order" if it would help make time.

has a lead head option become a reality?

any chance of getting two of these made up? would love a complete hammer set for my father and a second set for myself, but would also LOVE one of them to include some oversized inserts in the nylon variant :fingersx:

I don't know, A&P hasn't been too active from what I've seen lately on here.... maybe he's buried in workload... I'd shoot him a PM

He's been active in other threads and was actually on the forums when you posted that. I PM'd him before posting in here—both without any response. I guess I got my answer. :(

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up on this thread and I'm behind on PM's. I'm swamped with projects and sickness in the family right now, but I'm definitely going to make more hammers soon. I'm currently thinking about making a large group of them sometime around April, along with lots of faces if any current hammer owners need some extras. I'll start working on getting the USA materials to make them in here this week. (It's getting harder and harder to find them.)

I apologize to those of you who sent me PM's who I haven't gotten back to. I get a lot of PM's here, plus emails and I try to keep after the forum too. The end result is I usually end up not replying to everybody like I should.

Anyway, that's the story. I haven't forgotten about you guys, promise!

:)

Re: The Hammer - Now with pricing and ordering details.

Gorgeous work. Looks more at home on display at the MOMA than in a shop though.

I'm looking to make one similar to this for myself.

Would someone who has one, please post dimensions.

I just so happen to be an A&P as well, and a brand new machinist. That hammer is one like I made in trade school learning the lathe. Mine, however, was made with a taper. When my new lathe arrives in a month or so, I can make a few if you guys are interested. I will be specializing in making tools for power sports and helicopters. I will post a pic of my hammer below. It was a prototype I made on that beast of a machine...
