Thank you. Now I'm unemployed, because I left my job to make such things. I didn't have time to combine these two activities.

Good luck with your new endeavor, Sergey!

Thank you, Ric!

Hi everybody!
Today I want to tell you a story about my new endeavor.
I fell to made lamps in November and distributed them through all my friends and social network. One my "friend" has got some connections which might be useful for me. I offer him collaboration, I made products, he advertised them. He doesn't accept. Of course I forgot this talk. At the end of December I learnt he had advertised another table of engine which was not mine. I distracted, but my wife stood me up. I decided - war means war. And began to work. In social network my works have more likes. This is my first win. At the end of January I got order for my table and shelf which would stand in the first barbershop. This is Russian barbershop network. Yesterday when I brought them there they cut my hair and beard for free, I'm happy)))
So i can f**k off my "friend" - I WIN!!:rocker:

Было такое не раз!Однажды терпел 3 дня в итоге вытащили в больнице 4 стружки из глаза теперь без очков никуда!:3gears:

In the US I think we just call it a "chip".

Get a face shield/goggles ! You only have 2 eyes !!

в очках я был. стружка рекошетом попала в глаз. пока матерился и моргал,она наделала 3 глубоких царапины. врач сказал глаз не открывать капать капли через каждые 2 часа

I was in the glasses on my eyes, but chip got into my eye by rebounding. While I was cursing like a trooper and winking, they made 3 deep scratches inside. The doctor said not to open the eye and to use drops in it every 2 hours.

Hi
One month ago I forgot the soldering iron on table, it's was on. The next day I saw a big hole on the table. Today I have blocked up the hole at last by filling up a polyester resin. But because thickness was big, the polyester resin is cracked.

Hello
It has happened, I have made this post)) Let's begin...
When I accepted an interesting job of TIG welding, I wanted to post to GJ everyday, as if I had on-line translation across the ocean. But I walked my legs off.
So. It was a dank weather of early spring. I had a call from my constant client of TIG welding. In an hour I prepared my equipment. As I knew well what I expected to have there, I took a gas mask, flexible tube and a fan besides my case and welder.

My road to work.

Tadaam, my work was to stiffen a fuel tanker. There were some mistakes which were made during projecting. The inner partitions were broken.

The first day of marking, cleaning and making it habitable=)

The conditions were funny: the temperature inside was +40, i could breathe only with the help of the gas mask or with ram-air (that is why i got the fan).

I have the gas-mask and head phones on me here. Here I was cleaning the places of welding.

It is very hard to see here, but i put on my gas mask with ram air through the flexible tube and also the welding mask.

My task was to weld a plate (width of 5 mm and size of 300*180 mm)to a bottom of fuel tank and partition, then to connect them with a rib. As the partition was oval and the plates were flat, i used press.

So I needed 6 days of 10 working hours. Totally 48 plates and 24 ribs were welded.

You look like an cosmonaut (space guy) our astronaut  That job probably pays very well, but it would be scary for me. I don't like closed in places, claustrophobic. I think you need a fresh air mask, that is made for that kind of work. Just be careful, hate to see you have an accident.
You think this will be a full time work? OK keep sending pictures, its interesting to see that type of welding inside a gas tank:shocking:

I don't have a full time work. When they have a problem, then I go to work. If they don't have problem I sit at home))
The fresh air mask, that is made for that kind of work, costs very much. For example: my sistem costs 10 000RUB (166$), the fresh air mask costs 120 000RUB (2000$), that job is payed of 60 000RUB (1000$).

My new table is almost made. I found an engine of Nissan V6. I arranged about this engine with an owner, I disassembled the engine and took the engine block for free.

Ha Ha!

Reminds me of a guy on YouTube that always says he is a "Professional Russian" which allows him to do all the funny stuff he posts there.

Nice work on the tanks. Did you also re-weld all the cracks where the partitions separated. Seems to be a large crack in the center of an original weld below one of your reinforcements.
Does someone do a pretty complete job of cleaning and evacuating out the tanks before you get there?
