I have both. The never kink fittings are not as good as the black rubber ones if you accidentally run over it. I have slowly been upgrading to the black hoses. Yes they can kink but IMO are more rugged. I live in the country with lots of rock outcrop pings I drag them over and they are tough.
I own 5 of the black rubber craftsman hoses. They stay outside year round. Yes they do turn your hand black as well as anything else they rub against and they do kink at times. But I have never had one fail on me. These are many times better than the black rubber hoses I got from Sam's club.
We've had two of the black rubber hoses at the fire station for just over 10 years. The couplings have been replaced (they don't hold up to a 60,000 pound ladder truck driving over them) but the hoses are still going strong.
Anyone know where/if I can buy the C3 leaf blower (tool only)? It ***** to see Ryobi One+ not only has a better tool variety than the C3 line, they're cheaper too. Despite all their financial issues I see Craftsman/Sears isn't making much effort to keep up with the competition- even though they're built by the same company as the maker of the Ryobi tools.

Now.....that shows a cost of $1,119.98 ...........HOWEVER.......if you click on where it says "4 sold", it shows that they were sold for $120.00 each. Worth investigating.
I tried using my leaf blower to actually blow leaves.....it sucked. I only use it for blowing off my sidewalks, driveway, and garage after mowing.

Be careful, the pry bars were made by Wilde - but they have copied the design and are making them overseas now. There is/was a lot of NOS, but double check.
Harry Epsteins have them direct from Wilde for very close to the same price (if added together), but you have to pay shipping.

This has been rumored for several years now, and while it will probably happen sooner or later, nobody yet has found one of these sets made overseas. There is a different 3-pc set sold at Kmart that was outsourced years ago, but that seemingly has no effect on this set.
I will bet that the adjustable wrenches and punches/chisels will be made overseas very shortly. I've seen some good prices on them, and some of the adjustable sets are no longer available online.

I have one myself. Very nice set. Wish I did get professional with hammer strikes more money. That 20 dollars set, u could use rubber mallet to strike on the plastic heads of these prybars
