Just back from Florida in time for a good snowfall but I have some stuff to post. Checked out two flea markets while there. Nothing major but it was fun, lots of good deals to be found. Spent about $44.

PIC 1:

The blue handle one stumped me. It is a Matco truck brake spring tool. It cost $1 but come to find out it retails for over $100.

Also, part of a MATCO steering wheel lock plate puller, Snap On bearing driver handle, Blue Point ball peen.

PIC 2: Ratchets: 1/4" Craftsman + Napa, 3/8" Wright, Blackhawk, S-K, Indestro breaker bar.

PIC 3: Misc wrenches and screwdrivers, sockets: Snap On, s-k, Craftsman, Mac, Stahlwille, Apex extensions and Williams Vulcan dual marked 36mm socket.

PICS 4 + 5: Pexto sheet metal seam tool and unknown Osborne pliers?????

Was on the hunt for a larger air compressor for my shop, Came across this and left with it for $200. Listed as a 7hp 60 gallon (I am sure its probably less in reality) Works great. Now just need to get some extra muscle over here to get it out of the trailer.

It starts like that, then you find another, and another, and loose drill bits and... First thing you know you have the equivalent of 20 or so 29 pc. fractional sets, 7-8 numbered sets , almost 4 dozen large bits, and... :scared:

I REALLY need a couple of those Hout drill file cabs...

Pulled another box today from the same place that Nine and I recently scored. Had to pay double the previous rate but couldn't argue with the price.

Snap On KRA-280 box:

I think the well has run dry at this point but time will tell if they clean anything else like this out.

I was at an auction yesterday. Trying to buy a number of items but was grossly out bid on most things like anvils , vise's, Keen Kutter and Winchester tools. Pretty disappointed but if it's not right , it's not right! I did manage to salvage a few bargains out of the deal to the sum of 82.50.

Vintage Black and Decker drill and box. - The drill doesn't belong with the box though. Really just wanted the box.
7 hammers- Plumb, Craftsman, Williams, True Temper jet rocket with patent!
Seth Thomas travel alarm clock
Craftsman Kromedge hand saw-never used!
Miller Falls 1868 pat date hand vise- No tools in the handle
Plumb Victory boys axe- busted handle
Stanley brace-like new- made in England- the other older one is unmarked and the lot came with a 1/2" P & C Speed wrench... like I need another one :eyecrazy:
older USA Husky 3/8 socket set w/ metal box
3/4" John Deere breaker , 6" extension , 3 John Deere sockets, 1 craftsman and 1 true craft-japan

My poor Chiefs fell victim to the Pats... out coached and out played by Brady. Clearly the best to every play the game at quarterback (IMHO)

Had to run an errend this afternoon and since I was in the general direction, I decided to make a run over to the ReStore. It was packed. I got there about 2hrs after they opened for the week and had to wait to park. It was worth it for a change. I spent $18.06 (w/tax) and walked out with some SnapOn.

2 screwdrivers (at first I thought they were SnapOn, but they're just good clones. They'll be used for beaters.)
16pc bag of (mostly) SnapOn wrenches.

SnapOn OEXM13 13mm 12pt shorty combo wrench
_______OEXM10 10mm 12pt shorty combo wrench

_______OXI-12 3/8" 6pt shorty combo wrench

____2 - OXI-11 11/32" 6pt shorty combo wrench

_______OXI-10 5/16" 6pt shorty combo wrench

____2 - OXI-8 1/4" 6pt shorty combo wrench

_______OEX240 3/4" 12pt shorty combo wrench (1956)
_______OEX220 11/16" 12pt shorty combo wrench (1956)

_______OEX180 9/16" 12pt shorty combo wrench
_______OEX160 1/2" 12pt shorty combo wrench
_______OEX140 7/16" 12pt shorty combo wrench

_______J1214 3/16"-7/32" DOE wrench

IBM_2 - 9900005 1/4"-5/16" DOE wrench

I don't get over there very often, but this was the best haul from the ReStore in quite some time.

Awesome find Jake, I can't say I have ever seen a tool at the local restore here, just old doors and windows and piles of ugly tiles...

Yeah, this one is the same. I had to straddle a couple of boxes of tiles to find the bag of wrenches hiding on the top shelf.

That box is in great shape. I'd just give it a cleaning and a new coat of wax and then put it to work.

A buddy of mine told me I missed one hell of a moving sale last weekend.
Stopped in today. And asked if anything was still for sale.

This happened, and came with 10 unopened blades.
It is the older model with the heavy cast base.
$60

I think that is very fair and pretty top dollar for an estate sale. I would have bought it, and I've been looking for a KRA21. I've heard people also call them hip roof style boxes. They are a pretty good portable box.
