Looking for one (1) locking pad for a Wilton Tradesman - doesn't matter this model of the vise, this part is one size fits all.

THANKS!

EDIT: No longer need, found some on eBay.

I just acquired a Prentiss 22. The dynamic jaw has been broken and brazed at the start of the slide. If any one has a 22 they are parting out I would be interested in it. Or if you need parts for a 22 everything on this one is restorable . It's missing the pin

fellas, this is a great opportunity to make your Columbian or unbranded Columbian, (Ridgid, Armstrong etc) a dual lock down. Any bigger Columbian with the empty covered hole on the opposite site would be a excellent candidate for a additional lock down. With 2, your vise will be twice as stable. Oh, and they are priced right.

Thanks, autopts! I don't need this item for any reason, but I did see some lock pads by themselves (for Tradesmans) from the same seller that I did need and that I haven't been able to find anywhere else without CRAZY minimum orders or excessive handling/shipping charges ... this helped out a TON!!! Ironically, I was just PM'ing with Balane about this earlier today and then WHAMO, your post  Thanks again for the heads up, much appreciated :D

Littlestown 112 here all busted up. Broken main screw and bent dynamic slide which I assume could be straightened in a press. I promise I did not do this, I simply rescued it from the scrap pile. I'm good either way, fix yours or fix mine, let's just rescue one of them. Let me know what you have or what you need.

Jake: good call. Mark from Indiana one of our members made both of these vise bookends and i think he mention cutting the main screw in half was the hardest part of the job. looks like you got that part done.

if you don't work out a swap with another member here's a couple pictures of Mark's bookends.

good luck

Hey my dad has a Craftsman 5243 vise and it has a cracked swivel base. It's operational but I would like to find a replacement for him.

What are the dimensions of that ring with set screw? I might be interested in buying it.

Hi, I cruised through the 15 pages here and didn't see what I needed so I'm looking for the lock down bolts and threaded slugs like you see in my 1st photo for a Record #4. The photos are from my #6 which are too big. They should look similar but be a little smaller. Any suggestions or ideas?

https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=687045&stc=1&d=1506893042

2nd photo shows the slugs in the revolving plate and base.

https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=687046&stc=1&d=1506893044

Fixed photobucket scam but I no longer need these parts for the #4. I need them for my #5 (I need the complete #5 swivel set up.)

Last effort, take everything to a machine shop and ask how much they'd charge to make a set for you.

I've got both jaws and screw/handle for a Wilton 5" triple duty utility vise. No nut, base or replaceable jaws. Anyone need these parts?

Hey guys, this is my first post on the site. I have found a couple of threads that have been fantastically helpful in my search for Prentiss swivel jaw vises. I fell in love with them, and have started a small collection. I'll post photos here soon. My first was a local CL find, a #20 that heartbreakingly turned out to have a fractured main nut and several broken threads, making it unusable. May have been dropped at some point?

I've been watching Ebay for a possible parts vise; I know the fixed base #3 and the swivel base #20 (both swivel jaws) have interchangeable parts and I came close to a deal on a #3 that fell through. I recently saw a listing for a #54 Bulldog that was being parted out; the main nut has a "21" casting that means, I think, that it is swappable with a #21. Which leads me to wonder if a #53 Bulldog might swap out with a #20 swivel jaw? Looking at the listing at http://scuttle.dayid.org/wiki/index.php/Prentiss_Vise, the sizes seem comparable.

I did score an acceptable priced #19-1/2 on Ebay that I have reconditioned, and a #22 on a really cool 100 year old cast iron mobile base. Any help appreciated!

Brad

Anybody have a handle that will fit a duracraft 4" or maybe 4.5" vise? It didn't have a handle when I got it and I found a handle only to be just to big to fit so before I enlarge the opening I thought I would see if anyone had one and maybe needed a slightly bigger handle.

I am parting out this Wilton 5" Chicago made vise. Let me knowing you need anything. The swivel base is intact and in good shape. The static jaw shelf has a corner broken off and it's cracked behind the pin hole for the main nut. The rear end of the vise is in good shape. The handle is in good shape as well.

Edit: The vise is sold. I kept the swivel base

Greetings all!

What a great organization for information on vices. Thanks for allowing me in.

I have a Columbian autocrat 414 that is in need of a spindle nut. Any ideas?

thanks,
bravedave3

I just picked up a autocrat 414 for 50 bucks. You can get parts from Wilton. I have the parts list here. The spindle nut from them was only 3 bucks, same with center bolt. Some other parts are expensive and 2 you can't get.

Have a single jaw in alright condition for a Record 634, and can make pipe jaws out of any material for one if the need is there.

I picked up a Reed 203 a little while back, not in bad shape, other than the jaw support or "tongue" at the bottom front of the static jaw is broken off. Anybody have a good static? I'll give it a while, but if nothing turns up, I'll have to part it out. Really rather find a static though.

I recently snagged a Merrill Bros 5 inch vise. Unfortunately, it's missing the base plate and the lower locking handle. This seems to be common with the Merrill Bros vises. If anyone has these (or any other Merrill Bros vise) parts, please let me know.
Thank you.

I'm Looking for a swivel base for a Wilton 9350.

Bagged:
I have a feeling the base you are looking for fits a few other models. Maybe you should post specs. What is the spacing of the bolt holes? What is the diameter of the very bottom of your vise's base?
