Yea it's cool looking. Sorry, I don't think I'd go around saying you have a problem. I have a hobby. Old tools etc. SK proto and craftsman pretty 1950. I personally haven't seen this before. So is asking an issue? Or problem. Wtf?

I usually 99% of the time keep things I find. The reason I ask about value is to teach my son about this stuff.

Um really? I spend all kinds of time doing research and personally turning to "experts" is usually a good idea. Such as ask your teacher or go ask mom, she's good at hair etc. Isn't learning things or asking questions good? **** if it wasn't for questions would their be forums? It's called tool discussion. However I guess it's bad to ask questions. Just a bunch of know it alls going back n forth with their amazing knowledge and unwillingness to share information. Yay!

Wait a second, I'm becoming "pissy" because I thought this is supposed to be a place to ask questions. Then I ask a question many from people of whom I presume know what they are talking about and get treated like I'm annoying. How is that? Are questions not supposed to be asked? Am I doing something wrong? And please tell me if I am. If this is a forum only for experts maybe I'm in the wrong place. I'm here because I love vintage tools and want to learn things.
I like hand tools the most. Vintage SK, Proto etc.... not usually into electric or motor machines but this caught my eye. The guy selling it is asking me to name my price, but I don't like to lowball, so that's why I posted this etc. I think it's neat looking and didn't know if it was an original piece or?
So you don't know what it is, don't know what it does and you don't know what it's worth. You still want to buy it...... man YOU REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM![]()
I believe what you have there is a re-branded Honda engine.![]()
Might one suggest that you alter the way you go about things slightly? The way you've been posting threads recently does give the impression you're a seller using the site as a free appraisal service. Obviously that's not the case, judging from what you say, but participating more in the forum in general may have made that more evident. Just a suggestion mind.
