Glad to see you are putting a ford in a ford hot rod!!
Decided that cleaning and oiling might have to happen soon. Some haven't been used much recently and could use the protection.
What? Also, the old Workmate stands are great. If you don't have an old workmate, go find one. It is perfect for mating engines to transmissions.
Seriously, good idea!15* out? NOTHING...

No heat in the garage ?
Did you use plans for that? If so where did you get em
Today just cleaned and sat on my laptop trying to design a barn for style "baby gate" for my stairs. Got it planned out and then hit up menards for the oak I plan to use to build it
Started to position the new engine and ****** so I can mock up the engine mounts and cross member on the F100 project.
Looks great !
Probably 40 or so years ago, I built something similar to the pic I've attached. Only difference was that the full length of the top pivoted in the middle.
You just roll the bike up the incline, it tilts down, and the back flap flips under to support it. A metal top, a stand, or a couple of tie downs in the front, and you're good to go. I don't recall the mechanism to lock the flap in place, but there are a ton of easy options. Rock solid and I used it for years on all my race bikes.
Decided to jump on the computer this morning and realized the monitor screen need cleaned, then I noticed the keyboard was equally dirty.
So the project for this morning was taking the keyboard apart and cleaning it. It's amazing how much ****, dust and dog hair a keyboard will accumulate.[/QUOTE]
Soooooooo not touching this line.. LOL

Looking good! Don't forget to test fit the glass/plexi before finishing. You could also use panel bonding adhesive and you would just have to tack the corners near the glass and save some wleding and water leaks. (It probably wont see much rain)Over the weekend I started a fairly ambitious project (at least for my skill/experience level). Car is a 1992 Integra GS-R prepped for track days, it had a sunroof which was removed and the hole covered with a carbon fiber cap but now that I'm having the whole car painted I wanted to go back to an all metal roof.
Old roof removed

So far it's not quite fitting right, but it's close. Once I get that figured out the welding can begin - which should be interesting. I'm really hoping I can pull it off without just burning holes through this thin gauge metal.
