Made a shopping list of what I needed to pick up at NAPA and OReilly's and tried to figure out a lay out to make the most efficent use of some J-channel for a co-worker. I don't have enough coil stock to bend it up though.

Started working on a poor man's dust cyclone and cleaned up and rigged up a filter for my shop-vac.

Took a few min to take the blade off the push mower and about knocked myself out in the process. So called it a night. Don't want to hurt myself too bad tonight.

While my son changed the oil in his car, I started pulling the right-side tin off the old Ford tractor in preparation for a major rewiring job. A sixty year old machine is gonna need some attention. It's all part of the incredible boogie.

Just got up (it's NOON) after being at my cousin's house until almost 4 am. Gonna Summerize "Jake" the snow blower, putter around and plant some lily bulbs (not IN the garage).

Waited for the temp to get above freezing by organizing, cleaning, purging **** and moving the air filters on the compressor, so I can clean them. The 5/8 of nice new drywall above them blocked me from removing the elements.

put new brake pads on my 2011ss,replaced the rear sway bar bushings and links,(energy suspension) replaced the front sway bar frame bushings. with the poly bushings i can feel a slight difference. poor mans way to beef up handling. the brembo brakes are by far the easiest to work on. learned brake jobs in 1971.

Carried in some firewood. Even though it's getting nicer outside, I've still been starting a fire in the morning to take the chill out of the air. Besides that, I still have plenty of wood left from the mild Winter.

I also changed the oil in the wife's Explorer and rotated the tires. It reminded me that I need to pick up a new oil filter wrench.

Got my new to me kawasaki mule running, stripped many of the previous owner's add-ons and ghetto wiring, new carburetor and new switch and she runs like a top. Not sure what I'm even going to do with it, but it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Ran the snowblower down the driveway since I was parked there when my contractor came yesterday. My fault, I slept through his early morning visit (which is unusual for me)

Dragged the lawn mower in today, dropped the blade, drained the oil, replaced the air filter and spark plug, sharpened the blade, then balanced it, and re-installed the blade and filled with new oil. While I had it in the shop, I scraped and wire brushed all of last year's grass buildup out of the underside of the deck.
Counting the trip to Home Depot for the plug and air filter, I spent about six hours total getting the mower ready for spring.

Changed the oil, removed the loose oil fill neck, greased the front end, and replaced the oil sending unit on my 04 Z71. While I was under there I noticed grease from the cv axle all over the shock. Looks like I have work to do next weekend. Truck is about to hit 160k, so I can't complain. Only major repair so far has been rebuilt transfer case because of the pump rub and LF axle seal on the front diff.

Changed the back tires and wheels on SWMBO's Villager. One had a badly broken belt and the mate was discontinued. So I found a pair already mounted with 80% tread at least, for 50 ea and swapped them. I'll use the orphan good tire as a full size spare.

Put my welder cart together, then started to do some rust repair on my Camaro. Time to take care of it, been putting it off for awhile.

Mowed the yard and then spent the afternoon reworking my blasting cabinet, installed new lights in the cabinet and wiring the shop vac to the lamp wiring so all come on with one switch. Works pretty good, now on to working on the Model A parts.

Got my rear brakes replaced with the actually correct parts. Recorded video of it all but I'm not sure if it's useable. Time to start transferring and editing...

No, but that is allowed by the consumer.

Old-school stereo component with new school stereo component --polarized plug will not fit in "unswitched" plug --PITA.

Happy Easter.

I hear ya. That "Mattress Tag" thing has been used for so many "Big Brother" type comedy routines it's not even funny.

At least your new equipment HAS unswitched accessory outlets. So many of them don't these days.

Wrapped up the final repair to my soon to be sold daughter's 2000 CRV. Can't wait to the get this car gone as this 16 year old car with 190K is becoming a PITA to maintain.

Had a Hot cup of tea while walking around in my Garage today. Now I'm thinking ...... Uh Oh. I'm pondering a Multi Compressor Line Setup and receiver tank system. Yeah a Bit overkill. :rocker: But it will be fun. :bounce:

Why?? I want to build a "Big Boy" Pneumatics System for my Garage

Re: What did you do "IN" your garage today?

While switching from a "Industrial" to "Automotive" fitting on my Husky extended tank drain valve assembly I noticed that it had bubbled out of the braided line. Almost as spooky as finding out your friend who was left for dead while hanging from a cross just came back as a Zombie.

Not so sure I want to go back to using this line. Any suggestions? Guess I could go with a solid line, but I wanted it to be flexible when moving the 33 gallon tank around.
