You definitely won't want to leave. But, getting us all together will be interesting. There's a lot of distance between all of us (except maybe me and Grumbles - we're about 30 kms away, and Hewey is about 60 in the other direction, then Metalhead, well he's about 100 km north). But Steve and Simon are about 6 hours south of here. And Mark is about 8 hours north of here..... Oh well, would make for a good couple of weeks driving.....
And yes - the small talk is fun isn't it.

Why thank you very little JC. I thought the electricity thing was something that few people knew about. But the water wheel in the brook does seem to work well. I get run 2 lights at once. Oh that reminds me that I need to go get more ice for the ice box so my food stays cold.

My SIL in Brunswick is into brewing and has made some tasty concoctions. He wants to get a still next to try his hand at making spirits.

My eldest brother distilled his own spirits - my wife said that the rum was on a par with the best and I can attest to the scotch being absolutely top-notch as well.
I've had some pretty nice home-brew beers and I can remember having some pretty bad ones too.

You can always say you're being Eco friendly and making your own fuel. LOL
I'm sure you can make a small still and hide it somewhere in the shop

If you look closely, you can actually see my ugly mug in the letter on the wall as well..... Ta Da!
And you'll be happy to know the other plate of the larger variety is hanging in my garage. I'll post pictures one day in my thread (but it'll be a couple of weeks, as I'm away on holidays from Saturday morning).

Mark and Steve, I was just telling my wife last night that I think I'd like to invite any GJ member to send a little memento to me and I'll devote my entire garage walls to display them. Kind of a Garage Journal museum of members. And anyone traveling through Maine will be welcome to come in and see it. So if you would like to add a little to the walls, I would be honored to display and share.
Ed, I live in Waldoboro, and Walrus (another member from Maine) is just down the road from you.
Nines, with your luck and history of bad deals, maybe you'd better leave the still idea alone.
Gerard, I'll have to get Cuda's permission first before I can send you any pictures of her front or rear end. But she'll probably be okay with it.

I guess I'll have to send you a PSC decal for your Wall of Fame Dan. I doubt if my "ends" would fit in a USPS Flat Rate Box and the 'explanation letter' accompanying either one would get us both into trouble.
