Yet another post of my finds from Jefferson swap meet. First picture, misc. SK and new Britain wrenches $1 each. Wilton 825 2.5" jaw vise $25. Old 1/4 craftsman box with a mix of sockets but some are long c $5. Ratchets from top to bottom:
3/8 husky 22202 $3
3/8 Craftsman rhft $6 ( my first one!!!)
1/4 foreign made benchtop $2.50 (no.1of my 2for$5 deal)

yep you **** on that baby wilton, interested in any trades for that, or sell? I am looking for one to use with my small anvil i just got today?

Don't know the specs, but one is a remington or at least has their logo and the other is an unknown, at least to me. Both are pretty basic but good enough for my air rifle and who knows where the other one will end up.

I thought you might have been more interested in the Braiser being a camping item.



Depth gauge is Millers falls. One mic is Starrett and I forget the other one. Also a bunch of random Starrett stuff in the box.

I am flying out again tomorrow so won't have time to really check it all out for a couple of weeks.

I thought it looked like a pair of hamburger/hotdog rack holders from the handles poking out. is it something different?

1badbird, definite suckage on the Baby Bullet.

that Easco ratchet is also a RHFT, Almost identical to the Craftsman you found. It just doesn't have the quick release. Easco made those for Sears.

It could be. It has the "press" grids that you saw. The inside has a cage to fill with glowing charcoal or similar. Big enough for steaks, burgers, or whatever.

I will never use it and it will probably end up flipped.

Here's one of those tables re-done. The originals had a "Sani Onyx" table top and the castings were by Sani Metal, part of Chicago Hardware Company.

From this past Friday, this is going to take several posts. Went to the annual Jefferson car show and swap meet and all I can say is it was awesome this year for tools, I really had to hold back and not buy too much.

Fist score of the day was this 1/2 husky box with all the tools inside.included was 1/2 husky sockets, ratchet, extension, and speeder handle. Another thing inside was a 1/4 husky box with a few husky sockets inside. Last but not least was a very cool Lane unique ratchet wrench " Ford set". Best part was I got it all for $5

Fantastic score on the Will B. Lane Ford set. Even better you have what's left of the case. Leather and wood from 1909! That's a prize!

If those Snappy torque meters clean up, they are a big-time score! I sold one with its case for over a hundred and thirty bucks last year.

Did i screw up on this free craftsman workbench? It looked just like this but with a ugly white pegboard and top attached to it. I was there but needed to see if it would fit it my car so i drove to the park across the road to make sure and it would stick out after i took the peg board off but it would fit. I came back two minutes later and there was guy a guy taking it. Guess me second guessing myself screwed me again. I had zero space for it tho.

Wow i saw they relisted it this morning meaning the guy didn't show back up. Here is how it happened i got there and saw it was still there so i went around the corner to pull over to make room and make sure i had enough space and i did after removing the peg board and top. I came back two minutes later and the guy in the van was loading it up so i sat back and watched but then he put it back and left so i asked the owner is he taking it she said he is coming back to get tools and a buddy to help him. I told her i got the tools and can take it right now but she said she would feel bad. He never came back tho. That is why with free stuff it is first come first served and give it to the first person who can get it and comes prepared. Oh well on the the next free item!

Two sales on Sat that yielded no tools.

Today I hit the flea market and went home with this lot

2 wiss snips, 3 Bonney nut drivers, 2 craftsman and a Vaco nut driver, IR, 3 misc DOE, Snap On DBE, bag of craftsman punches, SK socket and extension, and a HD era Husky Joint that is USA, WF marked Plvmb breaker bar.

Man, the weather warms up a bit and you guys start killing it! Some great stuff.
I went to the flea market over the weekend and netted a decent haul of tools.

On my way out, I noticed one guy way in the back set up. I thought I'd go and check it out. Walked away with this nice Gerstner box. I don't know what model it is, it has the black vinyl covering on it, but at $45 bucks, who here would have said no?

I was all set to make this post, but left for lunch and stopped at the local recycling place where I found this old Kennedy machinist box. Recycler wanted $0.50 per pound (26 pounds) and I only had $10 on me... SOLD.

I had been looking for one for a while to go on top of this Craigslist find. The bottom and mid box was $25 together. So, I'm $35 total into the whole tool cart.

I also scored a couple of dual marked PLVMB/PRVTV wrenches. Buck a piece.

Picked these up from the local free market recently. First from the bottom is an Oberg and Co file, Sweden. Proto square shaft flat head. The third one I wanna say either Stanley or some type of a German brand. It's a hammer through flat head. The second last one is pretty unique. I've never seen that before, don't know who makes it either. Probably WILL , Canadian brand. And the last one is a lok-blok. ITs supposed to hold the screw in place put the prongs have broken off unfortunately.

OK, so it's not a yard sale, but I picked up this cool old national cash register off of craigslist, for free. It is missing the mahogany veneer, but looks pretty neat. I think I am going to unjam the mechanism and flip it.

Catching up on some past yard sale finds. First is a lot I got for $10 at the same flea I got my Wilton 940. A working 30' tape, a few SK items, a non-QR Easco 1/4 RHFT 711105, a no name prybar, a thermometer that I found did not work, and what I thought were sheet metal nippers, but are really hog ear nippers

Next we have a couple of SK hauls. First is an assortment I got at Spring Carlisle. Several of the older taper top 1/2 drive sockets, some adapters, a 70316? spark plug puller handle only, an awesome little 1/4 ratchet, 8" adjustable, a large assortment of wrenches and some other odds n ends. I now have 2 of the 3 midget DBE, and am working on two sets of combination wrenches. The 1" shown is rough on one side of the open end, but the other side is perfect. Total was $135, not great but good for me as I filled in some blanks in my sets.

Second pic is a small 3/8 metric set (might be a No. 14) that is missing 3 items (spark plug socket, short extension and 15mm socket). Some Husky, Craftsman and Mac sockets came with it. Total was $5.

Also in the 2nd pic is a small SK screwdriver that was $1.

No idea what I'll find but I'm hoping I can get out at a decent hour tonight to check it out.

First post (and first really warm weekend) this year - been a slow GS start. I did think it was hilarious how many Husky compressors and tool boxes I saw at the flea market this weekend! (LOL).

Plomb 3/8 ratchet - bone dry but will clean up nicely - this is WF21 from about 1940s
