Facom makes a very well reviewed set which im pretty sure are easily available in the states?

Ah thanks for the tip. I found it on the Facom website, saw that they called it an "angled socket wrench". Searching under those names I found it on Amazon (I searched under "tube wrench" originally).

Can someone post a picture of these in use? I'm a motorcycle guy in the States so these are all new to me. I'm just curious about them and I'm always looking to expand my knowledge.

That would be cool to get them at Toptul prices. The Facoms have always been a little too dear for my wallet.

The OP has posted a pic of a wrench that is bent about 75° or so and is open on the backside of the socket.

All of the ones (Facom?) posted by others are bent what appears to be 90° and are NOT open on the back side of the socket.

Very different.

Facom is 90 deg angle and has an open end at the bent, although not visible.
This is meant for pass-through of long threaded bolt.
I have one from here

The facoms are exactly the same as the OP's photos, although visually look to be better quality.

These wrenches look nice, but what do they do that a ratchet and socket won't? Made for the guy that has to have everything? I know they'll remove a nut off a long threaded rod/bolt, but there are better options for that too.

just like they posted, recessed brake bleeders are a big one.

In Europe they are used in place of combination wrenches. The offset gives your fingers somewhere to go. I first experienced them when I was working for STMicroelectronics and was sent to work in Crolles, France for awhile. All of the equipment techs used these. I saw one of them using them and asked him what it was he said; "It's a wrench." and looked at me like I was the biggest dummy of all time. Apparently, to a Frenchman, this is what a wrench is.

Hi Gonmad, below is just a quick mock-up of how its used on the Dakar calipers.

Bleeder tube is pushed through cutout in wrench:

Then the wrench can be placed over the recessed bleed ****** in the caliper.

Its a similar effect to using a tube through the end of a ring spanner (I think you call these a box wrench?) when bleeding a regular caliper. But regular ring spanners don't make it into this recess.

I also work on bikes and use these for screw & locknut type valve adjustments. No pics in use but I'll try to when I get one of those engines in.

The Facoms are open on the back as well and manufactured in the Czech Republic.

nobody remembers that craftsman had these in the lineup. sk also offered them through facom when facom owned them. i am pretty sure the craftsman were rebranded facom as sk was making quite few things for them at the time.

I've got several sizes of these in stock in TOPTUL that I'm willing to sell at my normal reasonable prices but I don't have any complete sets. These are 12pt on one end and 6pt on the other which actually makes the most sense. PM me with the sizes you're interested in and I'll let you know if first I have that size and second how much it would cost you.

I am thinking of just getting the common sizes for bleeding brakes. Looks like it would be a nice tool for that job.
