Slept though my alarms this morning and missed the flea market. I was a complete zombie until 2:30p. Sadly, no alcohol was involved, just a long sleepless week and a dreary overcast day to set the mood.![]()
Got this for $35

Each drawer has 6 steel rollers ball bearing rollers. Weighs over 200lbs.
Bottom drawer is only 1" above floor so I'll probably put down some 2x4s to lift it up a bit.

Glad you like it, BC. I had forgotten how heavy it was until we lifted it. It has enough mass to double as a heat sink, or a nuclear bunker. Old school. Finally picked up this air compressor from BlueBomber this morning. It was HEAVY! Took him, his son and me to load it in my rig. I'm glad I have a forklift now! Gave him $180 for it but it is well worth it. Thanks Again BB![]()

I need to move a 24 ft ladder to my daughter's, about 35 miles away.
Been scratching my noggin trying to figure out a safe way to do it using my small 2wd 97 Tacoma truck, then saw your pic of you moving a 40 ft ladder.
If you don't mind, would love to see some pics on how you secured it and how you built the support in back, as it looks like something that would work for me as well!!!
Thanks.
Mike
Got this Waterloo box last weekend for $40. It was barely used, come with the keys. I think this is made in US?

I.E. driving down the road and saw a sign for a sale not on your pre planned list.
BTW, Outlaw: Nice box for explosive Trojans :-O

That would be because Craftsman boxes were (still?) made by Waterloo. They still carry limited parts for them as I found out when I needed drawer clips. If it is it will be stamped inside on the right hand side, on the floor of the top compartment. I picked up an early 90s 20" 2 drawer a few months back and it was stamped with the year and USA. Decent boxes, comparable to the entry level craftsman of the late 80s early 90s.
Dude, you STOLE that for $25!! No matter what you think about modern Craftsman boxes, that's a You **** deal.

That's a 70's or so box and one of their best as well!Great score Berserk! Is the mid box missing the bottom drawer?

Here is what I got at the next sale. I really like the craftsman drill index case!

I've never seen that particular drawer configuration in that size overall top case. I think I like your 8 drawer setup better than the 10 drawer as you get two more full width drawers and three instead of 6 narrow drawers and lose the hard to utilize deep narrow drawer.
Nope, the drawer pulls are at the top of the drawer, and that mid is another rare find. three drawers as well (instead of the more common but still rare 2 Drawer)
Suckage indeed for a mere $25!
A bit more light in the topic:

The box is 26 l x 12 w x 15 tall. Has a brown wrinkle paint in it Guy a bought from called it a machinist toolbox. But I can't find anything like it online. 9 drawers and has a cover that locks for the drawers
Mike That is just too cool of a hand drill! is that main gear bronze?

Mike: here are a few more pics showing how I secured the 20-ft ladder in my truck.BlueBomber:
