Okey cool haha, how much can u rev?

I use a Hx40 on my 2.3 litres, pretty much ***** :p Full spool at 4000, and I only rev 7000, so kinda hard to drift smaller turns. But the feeling when you are flooring the pedal and the revlimiter just screams on the third gear and full lock on the wheels :3gears:

I was running a haltech and had limiter set at 9000

Mr Swede approves ;)

What ECU are you using to control that volvo? I am working on a project involving a TV7301 turbo (76mm) on a mild 454 - that 7.4l for you euro folk.

Im using MaxxEcu, its a swedish brand that made there own ecu. maxxecu.se is there website. Very user friendly unit.

7.4l, thats like more than three of my engines combined ;) Im guessing that the TV 7301 got a pretty big exhaust housing?

Working 5-shift now for the next 10 weeks, I was free 5 days last week and now my "7 days work week" started this morning, so I dont think that I will do any big project this following week.

But I managed to get a few things done last week:

ec5c277f34f80f76aca5b1a7724edbc6.jpg
Built a storage rack in the small room, very simple and sturdy, cost like 60$ [emoji1360]

b3dee66763d52e81a48374667913347c.jpg
Bought some cheap volvo original 16" wheels for the drifter since Im not using it as much these days.

Got a really good offer for the white 17" compomotive and made some dollars, so I orderder new 215/35/18 tires for the cratus-wheels that I will use one the 244 brick.

We own a horse transporter, that is really great for many things, but not so much for long lumber, and since we are gonna build a new porch and some other stuff, So, I bought an old mouldy caracan for 40$ and started tearing it apart [emoji16][emoji1320]

27603144cde4552bd16a746c2bb4d0a5.jpg

One hour later

ff29cfdcc816e1e4d0514c551ff310bd.jpg

Three hours later

11eac93cc78ae505ebe0064def003e15.jpg

73a7aa74c8ff5a459988a7bb2994542b.jpg

And four hours later

2737296229182b73c782aaa056dd9370.jpg

Then a buddy of mine came by and took the chassi to his job, gonna blast and paint it black. When thats done I will build the frame/floor of impregnated wood and install some "mounting brackets" so the lumber is secure while driving :)

Cya!

Got my new tires on the cratus wheels and put them on the 240. Since the front suspension is much wider than the back I had to space it 50mm in the back and 35mm in the front to make it sit well.

Also did a little maintence under the hood couple weeks ago, still looks like **** but it runs well. New 100amp generator (old one was 55amp), radiator and hoses, spark plugs, oil service, painted the valve- and belt cover black, air filter, washer fluid box etc etc..

Also got a pair of cromed mirrors from a friend of mine, the old ones were painted black very badly by a previous owner.

Also helped a friend of mine bleeding his clutch fluid on his Dodge SRT10 truck since he did restored the transmission and put a new clutch on it this winter.

Cool car, filled the shop up really easy ;)

Hi again!

A friend of mine got 400(something) whp (cant remember atm), b230 with stock turbo manifold, match ported to the head and the collector, he uses a bw200sg turbo with a external wastegate welded to the exhaust housing of the turbo, 2200cc bosch injectors, stock intake etc etc, so if I were you I would change the manifold, I regret that I didnt use stock, so much easier.

Now its bedtime herr in Sweden, just finished an evening shift at work, one more tomorrow then its the graveyard shift for 3 days.

Bonus pic on the newly blasted, primed and painted trailer chassi:

c300825c9ed69936b474c2eb6c5c2545.jpg

Gonna continue with the trailer tomorrow, buy some materials for the floor.

Its a 76/102mm compressor, with a 83/96mm turbine with a 1.08 A/4 T6 housing. This motor only revs to 5500rpm with the small cam, so it should be alright and good for about 800hp.

Long time no things done..

Cut my finger with the chainsaw couple weeks ago, so I'v been home from work unable to do anything in/on the shop/house.

86f8281e828d26a1e00744c1b556e6df.jpg

Now the stitches are gone and it looks like the skin is holding up, but have to take it easy a few more days.

Next project: complete the trailer and then build a new porch on the entry side of the house [emoji4]

Dont know what kind of flooring i want on the trailer, so for now i'll use it like this [emoji4]

35c6ec032c66f7d4161deae50cd64eb3.jpg

Next up is to finish the wall around the new door, and then a buddy of mine will plaster/mudd the area and also around the windows.

After that i will lay the "floor" on the entry and cut/paint/install the facia/wind covers.

Looks like its gonna be a rainy week now so we'll have to see how many gours i can put in [emoji12]

Any reason you installed the entry door backwards? In the states the entry doors swing into the house not out. Just wondering, nice work though!

Hi!

Here in Sweden the door isnt backwards, we dont want our doors to open in the room because of the space, its much more space outside isnt it? :)

Isn't there also some kind of safety measure that the doors should open out of buildings in case of emergency and running in panic, atleast in commercial buildings you think in that terms

In holland they all open in except official emergency doors which open out.

I think there is something to be said for both methods and the choice is convention more than anything else.

Couple days ago I prepped the wall with some "outside mudwall" and put a net all around it, and today a friend of mine came by to do the mudwork, the other friend only drank beers [emoji6]

Some "trimming" work left for him, but I think I will give it a try with the mudding around the windows on monday, cause I like to be able to do everything by myself [emoji4]

How did you find buying your house? did you buy using the bidding system? Is there any way to buy a house in Sweden without using the bidding system?

Love the Volvos owned a v70 T5 for 1 day but it was suffering from oil seal problems in the sump so the vendor took it back thankfully.

We bought it "private" as we say herr in Sweden. We simply asked the guy living here if he wanted to sell (I already knew he did), and a month later we signed the deal :)

So I guess thats the only way to get around the bidding system here as well.

The entry came out pretty good, after this pic was taken we have also painted the "footing" in a dark hrey color, and I also built a small bench with some leftover wood.

This is the "front porsch" last year when we moved in

070726b0da856803f0f17c4b709cb607.jpg

Took down the ugly crappy wood

46b6c62acdf78bd831eaeaab10a3d3ff.jpg

Put up some new fresh ones

52f6529948f7f72cd872b9044ce2ec89.jpg

And also treated the deck with some greyish lasyr, gonna do the "side wood" in a week or so

After that its time for some white nice railing :)
