rmalkow2, here you go, pics of a grinder stand and the top plate from a 9" table saw to compare to yours.
Topop101:
I'm wondering if that tool stand was a section of a cream separator in it's previous life.
Mike
Dangermouse,
Nice haul.
What make are the 15* x 90* electrical wrenches in the black leatherette pouch? Williams "=Superench="
What make is the set of 1/2-inch square drive sockets in the gray box? One of the universal joints (the 1/2-inch sq dr female-to-female) is a Duro. Are the sockets Duro? Not sure, I'll check when I get in this evening, and snap a photo for you if you like.
EDIT: Also, what is the make and markings on the 60-hole twist drill and wire gage?
Went to a tool auction on 6/21/16 but just bought one box.
Pic 1--Vtg Stanley No. 48 Tongue Groove Plane "B" Casting
Pic 2--Vtg Millers Falls No. 773, 8 inch Swing Bit Brace w/Lion Chuck
Pic 3--Vtg Russwin Railroad Pipe Wrench--Marked B&O RR
Pic 4--Pair Cast Iron Balance Beam Scale Hooks Weights & L.F. & C #3 Spring Scale
Pic 5, 6 and 7--A broken ft section hand plane found in box with no mfg name. Very unusual set up that reminds me of my Sheldon WW vise, as has grooves on back of the knife blade and also on adjustments, to move knife blade up/down. Whole set up is like you would see done on a nice firearm gun.

Attached are pics of the sockets. Seems like he probably pieced that set together over time; seems like most major manufacturers of that era are represented there.
EDIT: Also, what is the make and markings on the 60-hole twist drill and wire gage? It's marked General- see pic
See below
Almost forgot- the last pic is a bucket of perfect handle screwdrivers that I forgot to include a pic of. Looking forward to using them for projects.
Mike what did you have to give at the auction for that box??? I would have bought that box as well!!!
A couple weeks ago I found a 18" Diamond thinking it was the biggest. Someone here told me they go up to 24". Today I found it which completes the lineup from 4" to 24"! (4" for reference). Please don't tell me they go to 36"!! It was $10:

I've watched this set of ratchets at a local pawn shop for about 8 months now... I have worked on the owner every time I'm in there about selling them to me. He first had them listed at 100.00 . I told him I could buy them new at Sears for that. Long story short , he finally sells them to me for 35.00!

Well got rid the main source of my hoarding today. Traded my enclosed trailer for $2500 cash, a 2003 Arctic Cat ZL 600, and a Karavan Single place sled trailer. Now I can't wait for snow!
Also this isn't really tool related but it is helping me towards a non hoarder mindset.![]()

You aren't fooling anyone but yourself. That sled cart and a good tarp (picked up at your next sale, of course) will do just fine storing your new acquisitions.

I wasn't talking about covering the sled, up here we just leave them in the weeds until it snows again (which is why most look like **** after one season).![]()

Picked these up today from an estate sale dealer. They're in much better condition than shown in the pics - a good wax job and they'll be mounted above my workbench.

Are those cabinets angled on the back? I suppose to keep supplies from falling out when mounted on a straight wall?
I see it nowThe backs fit tight against a vertical wall - the fronts of the cabinets are sloped - deeper at the bottom than at the top.
...thanks
